I know it happened in every episode but honestly if it wasn't for the fact that the good guy has to win, I could see Galvatron just dismembering Rodimus in about 4 seconds.

but then the show could have focused on the Decepticons which actualy would be a pure pleasure for me, so nope it's all about the pusswad autobots cause the good guys have to win

I'm pretty sure that's the only time in the entire series that Rodimus is simply refered to as Prime. I checked, no other episode has another character call him Prime.

Galvatron is a bitch. I like Megatron better. But when they brought in Magnus, Cyclonus, Galvatron, and Radimus, it began to go down hill. Don't get me wrong, season 3 was good but the older characters are what made Transformers. Even though they brought Prime back to life, Transformers was not the same.

Do you know anything about badguys in general? Megatron was a bad ass and galvatron was completly insane after he got thrown into the "hot-bath". Oh...Rodimus was NOT the same as Optimus! Even saying that as a joke is wrong as a transformers fan. Rodimus was lame...thats why Prime had to keep coming back to life every few episodes to carry his lame ass.

Megatron and Galvatron are the same. Rodimus and Hotrod are the same. It would spare your time just to say Galvatron and Rodimus.

@reddragon334 not exactly, galvatron is way stronger than megatron, the same for rodimus prime, hot rod and optimus both have the same strenghs, but when hot rod turns into rodimus prime he is like 2x stronger than optimus the same way galvatron is 2x stronger than megatron.

@mileyfan5433 because leonard nimoy and judd nelson quitted when the third season came out, they just made voices for a movie, not a kiddy show, at least they not choose to bring megatron's voice on galvatron, instead, they got some bitchy voice for a great villian, the same for Rodimus. c'mon people, i bet that Optimus sucked when he was early a leader, he was a leader for like 9 million years! rodimus only 5 years...

Rodimus is awesome. I can't stand how everybody says it was his fault Prime died in the movie. Megatron was about to shoot Optimus anyway. Even if Hot Rod hadn't interrupted, Optimus still would have died.

I agree with you at the same time I disagree. Prime should have shot Megatron and finished him off one time just like Cup said. But instead he decided to let Megatron stall him with the classic hero villain dialogue. So not too bright on Primes part. But since Prime had his gun pointed at Megatron the whole time chances are Megatron would not have been able to grab the gun from under the rock fast enough to shoot Prime before getting shot himself. That's where Hot Rod messed things up.

So basically I disagree and say yes it is Hot Rods fault cause if Hot Rod didn't interupt and give Megatron the window of time he need to shoot up Prime, Prime wouldn't have died. I agree and say it's not Hot Rods fault cause if Prime shot Megatron instead of talking with him all that time then Hot Rod wouldn't have felt the urge to interrupt in the first place and try to stop Megatron from getting the gun. So it's both of their faults.

Oh well. It was an accident that he became leader anyways. If Hot Rod didn't catch the matrix after Optimus dropped it he wouldn't be leader. Ultra Magnus reflexes aren't as sharp.

I don't think rodimus catching the matrix made a differance to him being leader, it was just a BIG hint that he was going to the next prime. Ultra Magnus wasn't the one as he couldn't open it. only hot rod could.

Yes and the reason Magnus could not open the matrix was because he did not catch it first. You remember how hard he struggled to open it and still failed? Hot Rod had no trouble. And if Hot Rod was in the same position as Magnus before Magnus got shot to pieces Hot Rod would have opened the Matrix at that time too. Prime intended to pass down the Matrix to Magnus but Hot Rod got it first so therefore it was really passed down to him.

Yeah but prime was used for optimus prime. Imagene galvatron prime/Megatron prime if that could happen. Calling Rodimus Prime prime would cause too much confusion. thanks for uploading what episode is this.
