  • HEY!! This movie has trick. 1ST: start with more than 80000 points and three lives. 2ND: Arthur rejects golden armor almost all times and only takes it if he lost the normal armor or if the enemy boss is upcoming. This is not the beginning of the game, this is when Arthur defeats Beelzebub in the 5th level and Merlin returns Arthur to the 1st level to do the game the twice time.

  • must know where to get the intro song!

  • I beat some nes games as a kid that I wouldn't have the patience for now. I never got very far in any of these games, except the maximo series on PS, which is hardly the same. If dude beat it when he was 5, i guess its believable, but f*n crazy

  • JokinJoe: You beat it when you were 5? What was that - in dog years?

  • @BenThour your a tard if it was in dog years that would make him younger....not even one year

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFaceyface If you aged in dog years you would be seven times older than your actual age. That means that in dog years a 5 year old human would be 35 Retard.

  • the best intro for the movie!!!

  • How i love the sound when he takes a hit.

    *QEN*

  • ghouls n ghosts was for the Sega, not sure which one came out first(probably at the same time)but they are identical.

i've never heard of ghost n goblins game until now o.O

  • the order is ghosts and goblins, ghouls n ghosts, super ghouls n ghosts ultimate ghouls n ghosts

  • No, the last is Ultimate Ghosts & Goblins for the PSP.

  • Dude he said that

  • No, look again. I was saying that the last game is ultimate GHOSTS AND GOBLIN, not ultimate GHOULS AND GHOSTS, which is what he said. And was wrong.

  • is this ghost and goblins for the nes if not it looks just like it to me

  • is this ghosts n goblins or somthing else??

  • Ghouls n Ghosts is the sequel of 1985's "Ghosts n Goblins".

  • Ofc u beat it wen u was 5, NOT this game is hard as hell and still is.Like any other of the G&G games, they gonna fuck u hard no matter how good u are.

And beat the wen u was 5 yeah right no kid of 5 have the calm to play so many times and die.

This game is epic and is legendary hard.

  • I'm completely honest, I did beat it when I was 5. This was like, my favorite game growing up. Also, I realize how much of an ass I sounded like in that comment, so I apologize.

  • It's amazing the graphics back then. I remember playing it in the arcade, everyone did. Then it came out on Sega, cost a bit of money back then (would be like buying a PS2 nowadays), You were the man if you had that game back then.

Back to the graphics, compared to what they could do back then compared to now is a huge difference, but graphics were advancing so quick back then, seems to have slowed right down these days.

  • I agree about what you're saying about the pace of graphics advancement.

  • i beat this game! :)

  • Insert Coin:)

  • OMG was a really nice gameeeee!!

    Remembering old time ='(

  • this game rocks!

  • This is the first game that made me throw my controller.

  • ahahahhahaaaa me too...and i was like only 5

  • this is the second game I mean the first one was ghost and goblings I am asking!!

  • I want to find the song playing at the beginning, which is another version of one of the later stage's themes. Any suggestions?

  • seconded. any info about the source of the music?

  • that was pretty interesting. the Irate gamer just did a fantastic review for Ghosts n Goblins for the NES. You can really see how truely hard the series was

  • Awesome game!

  • Whats diff between this and Super Ghouls n Ghosts just the enemies and bosses

  • no, everything. totally different game.

Ghouls n Ghosts is the 2nd game in the series

while Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts is the 3rd game in the series.

  • what system is this running on ?

  • Arcade PCB.

  • Arcade PBC, Capcom's CPS1 hardware

    (released in 1988)

  • Gotta love the oldschool games.

  • i used to love this game!!

  • yes, cool movie and happy new year.
