You are a really good teacher!! I am trying to decide what career path I want to take and am really considering majoring in early childhood education. I want to be an elementary school teacher or pediatric nurse. I am worried about being a teacher because the pay is so low, but I think it is something that I would love to do everyday. I love working with kids and I want to make a difference in their lives.

gracias!! i am sooo tired of being a para in classrooms settings where teachers are like dinosaurs with artrhritic attitudes and demeanors...specially with ESL students..they need all the positive reinforcement in learning english....thank you again!!!

If you are instructing in an Immersion environment where English is the second language, it certainly helps! And kids remember the language more readily if they aren't bored.

If you are an English teacher in Japan, that is your role! Also, these are just kindergarteners. Why does school have to be stiff and boring from day one? If teachers can get kids interested in learning, then they will want to continue learning all their lives.

It just now occurred to me how important this is. I remember reading in child psychology how kids at that age have difficulty perceiving the world around them. You fill up a long skinny tube with liquid, and they say that has more liquid than a shorter, stout cup, even though you just poured the liquid in both containers. I wish I had you as my teacher. My kindergarten and 1st grade teachers were some of my worst.

You know why you're a good teacher? Because you're modern and appealing to kids of today. Some teachers are stuck in some ancient teaching methods and speech that might've been better back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but you are cool. I know kindergarten didn't actually exist back then, but some of the teachers I see in vids are just... fake and high-pitched. You're more natural.

I've gotta say you have a gift. I'm in my 4th year of college majoring in early childhood education and I still haven't gotten over my fear of being in front of a group of kids, I guess cause I'm not used to having to be funny or entertaining, or having to make funny gestures, I've always been a quiet and serious person. Boy did I major in the wrong field!!!

o dont judge urself by ur past! im a kindergarden teacher and i admitat first it was sort of scary 2 get in front of them but their so sweet and cute i loved it and eventually got the hang of it. u jst need to have be organized and make it fun
