How do I record a second sound in a second track without changing the first sound that I just recorded? Everytime I wanna record some new sond, all the sound of my previous track changes as well .
Well first you need to setup the midi correctly to the get triggering to work . I dont know exactly what the setup is on the 2500, but once you can trigger the MPC to play and stop from Ableton, then all you need to do is run an Audio FROM the MPC to Ableton, Arm the channel for Record, and hit play.
What microprocessor is your main dual-computer programmed duo logic based mega watt transformer? How big is your ram? Can I plug and play with this model? Next time perhaps try wearing a tie and using a surge protector.
The laptop is a MacBook Pro 2.3 Duo core Intel with 2 Gigs of Ram, TC Electronics Konnect8 Sound Card, Live 7 and I am running Leopard, which i do NOT recommend at this time for driver issues.
Sweet video. Good background on what you're doing... AND you're using the MPC! But I gotta say... NAME THOSE LOOPS! Once you start skipping around banks/screens it's so easy to get lost.
Looks good.... and the live beats ontop... sweet... looking forward to the next bunch of gear vids.

Quick question. How much ram and which processor is in that laptop that has Live running?

I see.
I currently have Live 6 running on a older PC. I'm definitely gonna upgrade to a laptop as soon as the 45nm chips from intel start coming out.
Thanks for the reply man. Post up some more videos, I love the shit outta the 4000 but I own a MV 8000.
