Plus he can play so many instruments and just accompany right along with whatever pitch the student starts singing.... he's able to SHARE his gift with them. @magikmagill The chorus usually meets twice a week and is comprised of 5th graders who audition at the beginning of each school year. Some (like Brielle here) become soloists and therefore need to rehearse a little bit more.

I have an enormous headvoice - [with average-okay chestvoice, good on a rare good day] - and so do all mezzo to true sopranos. I wouldn't call opera falsetto. I think it's the difference of learning to project from different parts of your body-headvoice means using facial muscles to hold a note above the vocal cords. A chestvoice-well, that is as you described-singing in your regular vocal tones.
