When Roxie goes to prision she gets her husband to pay $5,000 to a lawyer to get her out, then dumps him. Velma & Roxie try hard to keep thier face in the newspaper so they would have a better chance at getting out of jail, and the same lawyer is helping them. They both get out of prision, and is struggling financialy. When they see eachother again, they argue a little but then come to an agreement. They help eachother out by creating thier own shows together and becoming famous.
