FYI, 6000 rpm in 4th gear (1:1 gear ratio) with 4.10s and 275/40-17 tires gets you 112 mph.

The speedo in this video at 6k in 4th gear shows 135 mph. Nice try, though!

To get 135 mph at 6k rpm in 4th gear, you'd need about a 3.43 : 1 gear ratio.  Once again, nice try!

If you actually read my comment, you'd see that I said those numbers were true with "275/40-17 tires", which are 25.66 inches tall (which is a stock tire height).

Even with 28 inch tires (which are the tallest you can fit without some relatively involved body/suspension work), it would only net him 121 mph, which is still 15 mph from what the speedo says.

@incognitolvone speedos still showing a 3.27 gear. i had a 2001 cobra. there fun cars despite the terrible wheelhop. i had a 4.10 in mine. had the speedo redone when gear put in. good for 120 at 6500rpm well around about. nice car. miss mine. mine spun at the track and went 13.15. hooked great and 1.8 60ft went 12.8.fun car for sure.

IF the speedo on your car works off the ABS wheel sensors, you would have the tuner change the programming according to the gears you have. So, technically you would not need the speedo gear UNLESS you go with an 'off the shelf' program. That's what I've been told. Depending on what you had going on in this video regarding all that, your speedo may be more accurate than you think. Either way, I agree. Fast as hell. Me likey. :-)

nope no nos you just didn't correct your speedo if ytou got gears. your car would not pull to 140 in 4th. i got 3.73 on mine and could only get 130 in 4th at 6800 rpm.
