  • Much too short and oh! so sweet. Just real unadulterated blues. That felt real good inside. Thank you Ronnie.

  • I had the chance to see him playing in the 80's in Paris still with Jimmie Vaughan, this was the "Thrill" of my life Thoses cats were playing the finest blues I ever heard live. I've seen recently the Thunderbirds with Nick Curran on lead in Cognac and that was quite disappointing even if kim is still the "Master" in harp playing !

  • After already making two 'best harp player' comments, sadly,I have found that John Cephas who played guitar and sang with Phil Wiggins(see comments below)has 'passed away', very recently.

  • Wiggins has always played in a duo,in which the singer/guitar is dominant and the harp responds.I saw him in Australia (about 20 years ago).I've never seen better.

  • Is that a 410 bushman harp amp I got one of those, I just have to figure out how kim gets that sound to come out like that.

  • There are great players in bands which are not 'built around the harmonica',My favorite amongst them is Phil Wiggins.I love Kim Wilson, though.(second to none)

  • ya...he's by far the best for blues harp in my opinion. passion, tone, technique and phrasing like no other.

  • Really nice to see a great harpplayer like yourself on youtube who represents a more traditional style of playing! And thanks for this, Kim Wilson is the blues master!

  • He's your favorite right? Awesome player, what inspires you?
