If you google "a hack a day" "130 Megapixel scanner camera" you will see the perfect high resolution camera made from a flat bed scanner ( not made by me ) And you can find my tutorial on scanner photography by googling "Tutorial Scanner photography 101"

Interesting . I've been using a flatbed scanner to take perfect high resolution photos since 2000 . I don't use any modifications . The limitation is size and the object can't move . The largest object is about 8 by 10 inches . The lines you see in your images are most likely caused by movement or the placing of the scanner on it's side . Most scanners don't like being turned on their sides . A first surface mirror system would avoid that .A guy made a hi rez camera that takes perfect pics
