aha you guys are so nice! my cousin is sean mccann! im sure hell be so excited to hear that his fans like his stuff!!! thank you guys for the support of the band, they really do appreciate it, and so do i, because you contribute to the happiness of my cousin :) ill make sure to let him know you guys care!
these guys came to Waterloo, small town. HUGE auditorium normaly for haocky games, and it was literaly packed. just to see these guys.i was lucky to get a seat.
I love this band. This is one of my favorite songs of all time, it brings me memories of what went on six years ago. I love this band, all there music like sea of no cares and ordinary day is upbeat, and wholesome. This is why they are not as popular as some other artists. The media likes any kind of profanity from sex to suicide, and depression. Great big sea is a breath of fresh air.
Does anyone have a decent recording of tickle cove pond without someones annoying voice in it? The one currently on youtube has this really annoying female voice ruining the song.
last night I was on the plane going from St. John's, NFLD to Halifax, Ns and Alan Doyle was sitting right across from me, it was pretty cool, that dosn't happen to often in life...
then why would you listen to it? instead of breaking your computer, save some money and break all of your fingers so you cant use your computer to listen to something you hate. asshole

This is just another pop song that soon fades away. "Flavor of the Month" They've wrote too many songs like this one. Why can't they get off they're newfie asses and write more traditional tunes as in their first album?
I'm a newfie too! Other Newfoundland musicians are writing "destined to be classic material". Wake up guys!!!
a valid point yes... but i believe that GBS doesn't do what the others are doing because they wish to be different. their "Flavor of the Month" songs still get airplay, so i suppose they are doing what they wanted... how they wanted and still getting the results needed to continue.
This is a folk song dipshit, do you just listen to good songs long enough for your brain to pick out one small thing about them and then bullshit about it. Why wont you get off your newfie ass and learn alittle something about music?
Listen up little boy, this is a place where mature people exchange opinions on an intellectual level. Not a place to spit out childish name calling. I really think you should pick up your glove and your ball and run on home. This is not a place for you. Take a look in the mirror and do some serious thinking about what you have become and where you are headed. Try setting goals for yourself and always try to think positive young man.
lol you just told him not to name call but your calling him childish... and that youtube is a place where "mature" people exchange opinions on an "intellectual" level lol i still have yet to find one of those on youtube XD so please... im newfie as well and stop going into microsoft word and using the thesaurus for big words for your "intellectual" conversations lol dont be like some over newfies i know and be a hypocrite please :D
@harmonairbass "floavour of the many months and months to come...they're songs are all uplifting and touch me inside..and i am not a newfie, but wish i was!
@harmonairbass hey shut up asshole this is like one of the 5 pop songs they do because they are good enough to do both unlike you who think you can play music when your banging a rock with a stick. shut your mouth.
Great Big generally makes me happy inside, but does anyone know why the lead singer does not believe in cutting his hair anymore? I thought the band looked a lot better in their earlier albulms, but they still sound fantastic, I guess that's what really counts. Anyways...great song! I start sinning it in school without thinking quite frequently.
I saw them in a seattle and in Portland! Though in Seattle Shawn was totally wasted so they didn't play any of his songs... BUT IT WAS AWESOME BOTH TIMES!
