I got this phone in 2009 and just now broke it like 2 months ago...if i didnt drop it so many times the screen broke id still be using it =) good phone for its time, the predecessor to smart phones i think =) (Also he says "These phones are getting more and more advanced" lol...if only he could see 2 years into the future...im 17 and i can actually say "I remember when cell phones were gray things you had to flip open o.O" lol)

I had this piece of shit ass phone when I was with Verizon. Yeah it looks nice, and 2 years ago I got alot of attention with it... but the phone freezes and the web is SLOW!! I'm with T-Mobile now and tho I sacrificed great coverage and call quality with Verizon, but I saved soooo much money now with my Blackberry's that I use with Tmo.

@QUIKKSTAR It sounds like you had a defective handset, I've never had any problems with mine and I've had mine a year and a half at least. You should have exchanged your handset through the manufacturer's warranty instead of changing carriers, and place blame where it's warranted (Verizon doesn't make the handsets, they just sell them; you should have blamed the manufacturer LG and held them accountable)

@IceburgFanell I know the manufacturer is too blame, but VZW was giving me too many issues when I had INSURANCE to begin with!! But I also switched carriers just because I just wanted a GSM network instead. But the Voyager and EnV Touch was some cool phones. But they suck tech and feature wise. If they come out with a newer GSM one with a bigger screen, FFC, 1gz processor, HD video recording... I will definitely get one.

I've had this phone for probably 14 months now.

It was WONDERFUL until it became a year old. Then I started getting the problems everyone else talks about. It shuts off, the screen turns white, it overheats, and sometimes the touch screen stops working for a few seconds.

Overall though, this was a great phone while it lasted :)

I have this phone and out of 10 i'd probably give it a 7/10. It's a good phone. I haven't gotten the problems other people say they have gotten. It has a nice camera with a flash and a very large, easy to use qwerty keyboard. It does have a low battery life and a resistive touch screen, but it's not as bad as you think.

am not much of a fan of Verizon, my wife had a cell phone with verizon for several years,Now she is sick in the hospital for last year, and can, t even talk and verizon will not even cancel he subscription it was set up on automatic pay direct from the bank. Don’t ever set up automatic pay with Verizon for when you try to ccncel they will not let you and will keep on charging you and the only way you can stop them is to close your bank account.

I have the the LG enV touch... :) Lets just say it's not that good of a phone. The screen freezes and I have to restart the phone.. And the touch screen you have to really press to enter things...

The internet really drains the battery...and you can only go to limited/do limited things on the phone. :O

It's slow as shit, Shuts itself off at least five times a day, And last night when i went to check the time i found that the touch screen had glitched up. the lg env touch it has a QWERTY keyboard i know the chocolate touch does to but it doesn't have a flip up one and with the lg env touch you have both flip up one and a on screen keyboard as well and it is way better in my opinion
