Presidente Bush is not for torture, he is for pressure tactics. Torture is different from puting physical stress on someone. Giving muslims pork to eat, not giving blankets in cold nights, sleep deprevation, all are not torture. TASERing, burning, cutting, that is torture.

If the government or military is torturing it *must* be paid for with tax dollars. I suppose private institutions and individuals could torture for profit if there were part of some kind of contract where the tortured were a consenting participant; this seems to be the only way torture would be 'okay' and not an act of aggression.
