Our grandparents built a cottage on Gobles Grove in the 30s and we as kids spent every summer there. As we got a little older we rented a place near the Main Beach (anyone remember the 4-EEEEs? Bolanders Bakery? Millers Dairy? Bluewater Tea Room?) Ahhh, the memories...feels so good, it hurts.
How about the french fries with vinegar? Remember the "Havarest" cottage? Pink popcorn and lots of seagulls. Bolanders had these old fashioned suckers made out of molasses I think. And don't forget the cold beer and salamie.....corn on the cob, the little train by the harbor, the lobster and steak festival in the summer, I could go on and on...
i use to work on this side of the globe-i sooooo missed these sunsets guys, so thanks for posting...lol...i sold kyak rides on Sauble River At Sauble Falls
I live in Port Elgin, not far from the beach.. I think that I may have only been down to see the sunset only twice in the last 10 years...I used to catch it a lot... After awhile, it is like living in the Rockies... you get used to it.. I guess I am just becoming an old curmudgeon.. I did love your video though..
Couldn't make it to Port Elgin this summer. Thanks for bringing a beautiful Lake Huron sunset to hot and steamy Missouri! All who are there, have an ice cream cone at the Harbour Light for us!
Very beautiful video. Good job guys.

Heheh, "probably be the most boringest movie ever!" lol
Relaxing. I might not have the patience to film a sunset like that, especially without a tripod. good job.
