well I have to disagree, the moon has little to no friction because of the low gravitational pull... so it would not take much to chuck a spear from the moon. Of course space has zero friction so after the spear breaks free from the moon's gravitational pull it is smooth sailing till it reaches earth and pierces through the atmosphere. Super man could do the same thing, If anything he just has a bad ass spear.
@tealblaze2 Even with no friction, the fastest satelites, asteroids, and meteor fragments still move only a few thousand feet per second. The Moon is 253, 000 feet away so it would still take a moon frament that was broken off by some type of explosion about 30 minutes to 2 hours to reach Earth.
PS. Superman probably couldn't do it as fast. Superman gts his power from the sun, so depending how far he is from any solar rays, or the position of the moon at the time, he wouldn't be at %100.

Now light years are about 60,000,000,000 miles, the solar system is about 2.1 light years, and half of that would be about 63,000,000,000 miles. But being the strongest isn't about who beats who, because there are so many different factors that play into it that anybody can beat anybody on any given day. The strongest is based on constant feats of strength. Other beings have done very strong things every once and a whole, Zedd threw his Septor CONSTANTLY, over and over again with no effort. Other beings have to dig deep to do it.
