I used to be a fan of NaruHina myself, you know. I then realized how stupid I was being and switched to NaruSaku. NaruSaku has way more development than NaruHina has ever had (filler arcs don't count because they don't matter).

1. The promise of a lifetime

2. Naruto loved her his whole life; he deserves who he loves. Plus, Sakura cares about Naruto. It's two-sided, where-as NaruHina is one-sided. Hinata has what you call a huge crush on Naruto, like what Sakura had on Sasuke.

3. Like you said yourself, Kishimoto confirmed the confession as true.

Those CANON events beat any possible canon events that NaruHina could have had.

2. Naruto only cares about Hinata as a friend, and it's all he ever will care about her as. Hinata will always love Naruto in the way that he inspired her, but she will grow out of him. The only thing she likes him

@Brenda2705 for is the fact that she looks up to him; nothing else. That isn't enough to sustain a healthy relationship. One-sided infatuation is the reason that SasuSaku is impossible, and it's the reason that NaruHina won't happen.

Plus, if you look at some similarities between Minato and Kushina, you will notice much symbology. Example: the bridal style saving and glaring at their respective enemies (for Naruto, he glared at Sasuke. For Minato, he glared at Madara).
