  • lol look out at the beginning he is giving you the evil eye :D

  • Shiba Inus are really smart, but this video doesn't really demonstrate that.

  • My dog solve a Rubix cube blindfolded with his toenails.

  • @zolluuu what? your dog cant do that?

  • @zolluuu ahahah, I laughed so hard at your comment :D

  • @zolluuu lolllllllllll

  • are they easy to train?

  • Are you cantonese? From Macau or HK?

  • ur dog is stupid

  • Wow thats one smart shiba inu! U trained her/him well!!

  • mines way smarter

  • I was under the impression animals recognized a high pitch voice as positive and friendly, while a deep low voice is considered negative and reprimanding.

  • i love shiba's! :D good job on training her!

  • Are you from HK or Macao? 手手

  • my shiba is called floyd hes kinda ignorant lol yours looks lovely shes really well behaved

  • Did you ask her to give you her paw in Chinese?

I know the Korean Word for paw is sohn [not too sure of the spelling there].

    She's gorgeous

  • awweeeee♥

  • Does anyone ever noticed how people like to talk to their pets with high pitches when you ask them to do something? I see 98% of pet owners who do this allll the time. Why is that? Why can't pet owners speak at their normal tone of voice?

  • duno shows their affection?

  • @Str4t0sPh3rE Read the description.

  • @Str4t0sPh3rE Did I at some point sounded offensive? I mean, even I myself am doing all this high pitch voices when it comes to cute animals. I'm just questioning the psychological behavior of human beings reacting to cuteness. Another behavior discovered; hostility of Youtube community towards comments due to misconception.

  • @Str4t0sPh3rE It's in the description why they do it.

  • -.-

my beagle learned those tricks already when she was that young .. -.-

  • any dog can learn those tricks.

  • @AmuroTrance haha i saw that video too XD

  • I love that dog.

  • oh my gosh, my friend trained her dog to "play dead" its so funny :)

  • be quiet

  • I am so jealous of how well trained your Shiba is!!!!

  • @TheJessi25 They're very smart, you just have to work with them, my Shiba Inu learned quickly and loves it. Give him a little time and if you have trouble, go to a class with him. He'll almost be doing back flips for you by the end of the week ;)

  • if you spend much time with training to your dog your dog will be listen as good as this dog (en mine;) )

  • oh my, What a beautiful shiba inu, i want one so bad but lach the money right now, they are amazing animals!

  • that's not very smart my shiba inu can do that.

  • yes that is smart. it noes chinese

  • Your shiba inu is beautiful!! I want one so bad! I love how the only chinese word you used was for hand. Hahaha! Very cute! How old is your dog?

  • ALL Shibas are capable of GREAT things. They are smart dogs and are very reward driven. When someone says they wish their "Shiba was that smart" it is usually because that person lacks good communication with their Shiba. The woman in the video and the Shiba in the video know how to communicate with each other and they trust each other completely. When you combine those two things, you end up with a friend who LOVES to please you. :]

  • I wish my shiba was that obedient

  • professor.Smart Shiba Inu! =) very smart

  • anyone know when they reach their max growth?

  • when the dog is about 3years old it is more or less finished growing, a full grown shiba wouldnt look much different than this one other than more developed muscles and posture... great dogs

  • thanks

  • nice :D wish my shiba could do that ^^

  • Ooh I love this, I wish I could get my Shiba to do this since he is very smart but stubborn. Oh and my voice sounds so much more high pitched in the videos, it sucks.

  • smart? smarter than you...

  • shut the hell up u fuckkin asshole

  • U MAD?

  • really cute! beautiful dog!

but please give him the cookie earlier :D

  • come, stay, sit, down, paw, roll over. pretty basic.

  • Lol :) Souw souw Means hand hand in Chinese

  • looks like a fox,doesn't it?

  • your a twat!

  • CUTE! But give her the treat already! haha

  • i don't own one, and i'm not a fan of them more than any other breed... so i can say without a having a horse/dog in the race that they are terribly intelligent, and that they do house train themselves....

shibas are something like a more trainable but more selfish siberian husky...

  • The intelligence and potty training about Shiba Inu's is directly on, they are home broken VERY VERY EASILY and are EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT dogs, mine figured out how to open a latch lock door by himself by using his mouth and walking back on his rear legs. I have had my Shiba for about 8 months now, then only 3 downsides to this breed are the MASSIVE SHEDDING, TEMPERAMENT, and HYPERACTIVITY (usually only with puppies and dogs 1-6 years old). The trick with mine is dog treats, he loves beggin bits

  • same with mine

  • it's not actually trained coz ur using the cookie. it's just moving following the cookie.

  • is the shiba wet :D I have one too :D

  • lol they are able to do much smarter things this is just standart<_< even mine can do this stuff+ he can close door !

  • obedience school fail on the paw X3

  • some of the comments on this video are annoying

OH YEAH WELL MY DOG CAN TRANSFORM IN TO A FIRETRUCK ITS SO MUCH SMARTER

just watch the cute dog and shut up, no one clicked this link to hear about any other dog except this one

  • Sojiri, seriously, you made my day with that comment. I definately laughed out loud. Thank you. A firetruck.. ha!

  • lol firetruck hahaha

  • dude your comment was really funny lol

  • @Sojiri best comment ever.

  • @Sojiri lol, now that would be an awesome vid, a dog transforming into a firetruck. :P

  • that's soley an opinion, and besides, those studies were probably outdated, as the shiba breed was only registered in the akc in 1997? my shiba learnt sit/ down the 2nd i got her, w/o even trying.. in literally two 5 minute sessions. and it picked up potty training all by itself within the first week..idk if your lil overrated collie can do that..but these dogs, ARE smart.

  • actually shibas do have a tendancy to potty train themselves. something to do with them being clean dogs by genetics.

  • i concur. they are very intellegent. I got my shiba at 7 weeks old and she has never gone in the house. Not once!

  • false about the potty training. Shiba's especially are born potty trained. the second i brought my shiba home, she went to my back door and scratched on the door (at 7 weeks old) Shibas are very intellegent dogs

  • My shiba can do twice the things that one can do. She can play piano give hi fives, dance, etc.

  • i dont think anyone is trying to show off here, just posting vids of their own beloved shiba...so who cares if yours can do 2342342x the amount of tricks etc.?

  • nice toes .)

  • wow nice training. i couldnt possibly get either one of my shibas to rollover. very cool

  • they're actually not that hard to train..just gotta find the right technique.. rollover - the first few times you gotta ROLL her..while repeating the command..then praise..treat..repeat it a few times..then slowly take the treat by her butt..and she'll slowly turn/ roll/ lean..when that happens..just roll her again if she cant get herself to roll.. and in a matter of few more sessions you'd be amazed :)

  • cool thanks :) I'll try it this weekend :)

  • shibas are extremely smart, its my first time having a dog and i went with a shiba, i've had her for a a month and a week now, mines total 3 1/2 month old. within the month, mine can do..sit..down..both paws..rollover..stay..up and jump..and crawl...

  • omgosh i wont one!

  • Hahah! thats awesome! Sneaky dog!

  • omg this is exactly all the phrases i use.. cuz i'm chinese too HAHAH sao sao =P

  • AW SO CUTE.

  • i have two shibas. my boy one looks like your dog but it has a black tint:)

  • is she canto??? xD lol i heard cantonese in there

  • I remember when I wanted a Shiba the Good Ol' Days

  • is it hard to get one of these in florida?

  • man it's hard to choose between this or a siberian husky

  • shiba of course!!

  • get a dog from the humane society and you'll know you're being a good human

  • if you didnt have a dog before, i say this. you need to know how to train a dog or it will be destructive and if a big dog is destructive, its not good. but that doesnt mean a shiba is easy to train.

  • I think I sorta learned from what I've seen from people, with the dog warning you when it needs to go to the bathroom I need to learn and not to run away and stuff I need to learn how to do that

  • yeah but its not fair to the dog if you get a husky and dont know how to take care of it. you can read alot of stuff about how to take care of certain dogs on the internet.

  • Floppy, what a silly name!

  • Is that in hong Kong?

  • You are so lucky. Are Shiba Inu's rare?

  • What a wonderful Shiba. Mine won't do anything because she is too focused on the treats. Haha.

  • Very cute and smart pup!!

  • I want a Shiba Inu D:

  • u should try givin it the treat after only a few tricks, or it will probably get the idea that it will never get the treat and wll be unresponsive to your orders, lol just a heads up

  • Cute pup

  • i want a pet, other than my brother ;)

  • Still a puppy.

  • nice dog

  • should put her in a dog show or somthing the results will be good i think :)))))

  • OMG HOW SWEEEEEEET! X3333

  • did you just say "hand" in Cantonese ?

  • Although Shuba Inu a Japanese breed but very popular through out Asian countries and have Asian owners through out the world including the United States. The reason I aked because I can understand Cantonese. When she asked the dog for the paw she spoke Contonese for paw and the dog repsonded.

  • If you watch the video again from 0:21 - 0:24 the owner of the dog said "Xau Xau" multiple times which mean hand/paw and the dog understood and responded to the request in Cantonese.

  • I see, cool :)

  • Dogs are almost as smart as humans. When we're only young children and we hear our parents speak we pick up on the language and learn.

The girl must of had the dog since it was a puppy and was able to pick up on both Cantonese and English as it was trained.

  • I want a shiba inu

  • THAT IS SO CUTE!

  • sexy legs...

  • lol

  • żałosne

  • aww... :)

  • that dog is awesome
