You can do this with a wiimote, some program to use the wiimote on your screen, a usb thingy to connect the wiimote to the computer, and a laser pointer. :|
@DARKcpu0 You can, but it will be horribly imprecise and lack pressure sensitivity. You'd also need to find an infrared laser pointer, and those aren't as common as the standard red ones.
Wait your a woman, who knows how to use her hands and mod machinery; Are you single? ...I love you. though have very little idea how to mod but wouldn't mind learning from you though...lol
you need to go get a sheet of glass cut to the same size of the screen and mount the whole thing in a wood frame that can be tilted up to about a 45 degrees to make it easier to draw and stuff.. this could be an awesome item to have. Good job!!!
@nowaythatsme I'd say looks like she disassembled a PC monitor, putting the PSU and controller board which were behind the screen to the left, put the TFT panel on top of a digitizer panel, and a piece of glass on top to protect.
It probably won't work with most tablets because of their limited sense range.
@stefanocelsi i believe cheapest monitor tablet is chinese Hanvon SenTIP 1201WD. I don't know how good it is. Also so far i've been able to convince myself to use a normal Wacom tablet and simply train the hand-eye coordination :) Affordable, ergonomic (fewer constraints with positioning), no glitches, no lag...
really enjoyed watching her paint nice pic btw
