  • this is totally an elongated advertisement for home depot.

  • I FUCKING LOVE MICKY MOUSE!!!

  • That cup glued? Lol :d

  • it sounds like your voice is just constantly cracking

  • i like it!! if it were mine id put a third piece of ply for the x part of the stand for reverse mounting the pedals would also give it some more support! but good job man

  • That Voice defeats the purpose of the video lawl.

  • Awsome vid i make one now thanks, not to be rude but by judging you look 17/18 and still no puberty?

  • Great Job Kman!!

Im just startin out with the racing thing (Forza Motorsport 4) and dont need to be using up all of the nuts I got saved in the tree if ya know what I mean... lol. I was thinking of something inexpensive and foldable and after watching your video I really like what you've done and it's definately given me some good idea's. Thanks for your help

  • Great video; Your approach is a very good starting point for a homemade racing sim stand; i would only suggest you to add a piece of that angled bar on the back of the pedals to prevent them from slipping forward. Aditional vertical bars and a sturdier (metal) base woul also improve stability. Conrad here is triying to help us save $ that otherwise we would pay for a bunch of pre-drilled metal bars that we could've put together by ourselves in the first place. Trolls: please show some respect.

  • since when was mickey mouse a handyman gamer :O

  • @Bloxor11 Come on downstairs and check out my playseat... lol

  • Thank you for this idea bro!! Yes, it could use some tweaking for stability, but I think it's a DAMN GOOD start. Extra stability should be easy to come by, by adding a couple more cross bars or a couple more vertical straps. + I can't believe the trolls that feel the need to criticize someone for something that is inherent and uncontrollable, like their voice. Pathetic. The guy is giving you a great start on a project. Instead of trolling him, let's see YOUR video of a better working idea. +

  • Herbert The Pervert.

  • your voice man, i gues it Just Works As Magic To :D. awesome video bro

  • What are the cups for?

  • Thanks, i'll try to build it very soon !

  • yo who gives a fuck about someone's voice dont troll because ur insecure about your small dick... so make fun of henry or w.e u call that 2 inch thing hanging between ur legs cause trolling on other people to make yourself feel high and mighty is just sad it really is

  • Kermit

  • crap

  • first thing i noticed is that your rig appears unlevel on the wheel mount

  • Thanks for all the information on this, it looks perfect for what I'm needing, great design and great tutorial

  • is this your real voice??

  • @OMGGP Nope, i borrowed it from Micky Mouse :)

  • @Darnokg We had a dude at my gym that had little bit higher pitched voice than that.. always thought the guy dropped a db on his testicles.

  • @Darnokg haha awesome :)

  • @Darnokg i love your replys lol, gets me every time.

  • @OMGGP I had to stop watching.. You voice is just to bothersome.

  • Great bid man, was lots of help needed a project and this fought my eye...

  • Thanks for the vid...oh and love ur voice. Sounds like mickey mouse..lol

  • Thanks a lot for the instructions man, just made mine from a bit heavier metal, plus I welded a metallic base instead of it being wood. The thing feels REALLY sturdy once everything is bolted down. Once it's finished and painted I'll show you some pictures. The foldable design is what made it really interesting for me. Once again, thanks. :)

Oh and don't pay attention to these clowns talking about your voice, that's just youtube for ya...

  • well first i though chik was talking sorry bro

  • voice like mickey mouse °---_---°

  • Thanks for the inspiration dude

  • wood is good

  • Great vid, probably the best simple DIY setup so far I think. Will be making mine soon. A couple things, The supports on the side that are adjustable and determine the angle of the whole thing, did you say those were angled aluminum? they look different than the other angled pieces.

  • Got kicked in the nuts!

  • sounds like that skinny teenager from the simpsons

  • Hows puberty going

  • HAHA lol ur fucking voice I couldn't hear or concentrate on the vid cuz ur voice lol

  • I crapped my self laughing at your voice!!!

  • dont make fun of his voice guys. not cool. nice design btw

  • you have two voice!!!amazing!!!!!!

  • No offense to your ingenious design, but from where I'm watching this, the stand looks rather sloppy. Especially because the G25 and G25 racing wheels have Force Feedback, which mean they will vibrate and want to jump all over the table - so if the base is weak, it's just going to be terrible.

And may I suggest you drink atleast 2 pints of beer a day? It will help with your girly voice, no offense again.

  • @ElchinMendes You're right, it's not the most sturdy design mainly because it needs to be "foldable". With that said the mount is sturdy enough not to bother me during fast steering changes. The weight of the wheel itself plus my hands prevent the mounting board from flying everywhere.

If only I had a dedicated game room, then I would do a full blown real car seat wheel mount.

After being on antibiotics for 4 weeks, I'm finally back on my drinking routine so hopefully my voice will deepen :)

  • @ElchinMendes It's stable enough, the reason it's not a solid construction is because it need to fold. I live in a small apartment where space is precious.

Yeah I've been testing the alcohol theory for a long time now and it doesn't seem to help :)

  • Nice video but whats up with your voice?

  • wtf is wrong with your voice?? lmao

  • @HyphyDubstep lol, i know i was like wtf? thought it was kermit the frog at 1st, i had to make sure i clicked the right video.. but overall great instructional vid bro, when i get my wheel i will follow these guides to make mine, with a little twist of course, being unique is my goal always, good job.

  • @silk919

    Kermit thanks you :)

  • Wow bro did you come up with that Idea yourself? That's cool you can fold it up and put it away when your not using it. Damn, I with I had those 1st 2 tools. All I got is a hammer, screw drivers, a regular wrench and a allen wrench set. I'm getting my G27 monday! Can't wait! Hopefully I can borrow the tools and try to make this, seems simple enough. Those cups on the bottom, are they screwed on? 1 screw to a cup is it?

  • @wastnTIMEwastnTIME Well you could probably get the base and top board cut at Home Depot for free and cut all of the metal pieces with heavy duty wire cutting scissors but that might need a lot of elbow grease :) Those cups are screwed in with one screw each right in the middle. I forgot to mention that you'll also need a board to mount the wheel to , the measurements for that are 29inches by 5 inches.
