nice job mom. we always find a better, less expensive way. don't we? lol his hair looks just as professionally done as someone that paid $100+ for starter locks.
For some reason I cant get my hair to twist with a towel or a sponge. I have watched every twisting video on youtube and still cant get my hair to twist. At best, it might curl a little. I spent a whole hour on just a piece of my head. My hair is about a inch. Maybe my hair cant do it because my hair wont get nappy at all
@GoGettaMitch yeah my hair want lock with the towel or spoonge method either but my son hair locked up beautifully his hair is really curly he on had about a half of inch of hair when i locked it now im doing them by hand
@FabolousChrisshonda Well I found out that I dont have curly hair. And I just found out my hair is a inch and a half and I didn't even think it was an inch. I'm going to get it twisted on Tuesday by hand or comb. nnnnnot sure yet.
@mrbenjaminvincent yeah but i used this method on my son hair for about 6 months then after that i started tightening them by hand sadly he wanted his locks cut off because kids were teasing him.
@GoGettaMitch I have that same issue with the front top of my head and all around my crown area!! it'll curl up as a section, but it won't twist up. it's so frustrating sometimes dealing with different textures on my head. So I guess I'll have to wait another 4-6 months for my hair to get longer. Ugh. I'll just keep dreaming in the meantime. Haha.
@BlueScalyCool hey yeah the light was to dim but this process really works but the only flaw was my son dreads were really tiny and i kind of wanted them bigger but if you try this process let me know how it works out for you
@lilboyz11 when they get a lil bit longer you tighten them up by hand you want to tighten them up when you get new growth at the roots so they will always look nice. but u can use the sponge method until they want lock up anymore that when you start locking by hand
They are so cute Congrats!

I did see slight texture of his hair that was sectioned by the towel, but the lighting in the room is way too dim to see the process clearly.
