Yubiart someone should have told that to Rembrandt not to use black or umbers. Many beautiful painting have been done that way. It's how the paint is used.

i used to use toilet paper and cardboard to paint on& i used grape juice, blood and eyeliner to paint with:) thanks you.

I use a grid to do portraits, 6 x 8 though. A programm called "oil paint assistant" does a good job of preparing the photo with grid and all.
