it is just so unbelievably cliche and horrible. Unnatural selection was pretty damn good tho. MK ultra didnt really do it for me. The rest of the album is just really lacking for muse. I love their other albums, but after 4 full listens i cant help but think its really dull!

Lots of homages whether intentional or unintentional:

Gary Glitter - Rock & Roll Part Two (the beat).. possibly Timelords/KLF "Doctorin' the Tardis" which combines the Dr Who theme to that beat in a similar fashion. The keyboard note progression is almost identical to Billy Idol's "White Wedding". The "come on!" is almost identical to Blondie's 'Call Me". But why do a mashup when you have such an awesome band and all these influences? And the lyrics are classic Muse :)
