Wyoming and Nevada were both caucus states. That is very different from a primary. Iowa was a caucus which is why he did so well there. There is no early voting, absentee voting or even 12 hours of open polls. You have to be off work and abel to travel to a caucus site to participate in the process. If they were all caucus states, RP would be in second place in delegates.

It doesn't really matter what RP says, or if he's a racist or not because you trust him. Whether you like his ideas or not you know where you stand with him and you feel like you know what you're voting for. With any other candidate you don't even feel like voting because it's coin toss whether the candidate will actually do what he says he will. RP has cured voter apathy for a lot of people.
