If the Kinks weren't blacklisted from touring the USA from 66 -69 they would have been just as big as the beatles and the stones."Village Green" is a masterpeice!!
The Fleeting Ends will be playing this song at their residency at MilkBoy Coffee in Ardmore PA on Thursday Feb. 4th! The Fleeting Ends do the 60s! Should be a good set...
i was implying that day after day was copying from starstruck (not the other way around), and badfinger was active during 1968 so u cant say this came out years before anything badfinger did
beatles and kinks were both amazing bands. the sad thing is everyone remembers the beatles even though the kinks are just as great. kinks were certainly ahead of their time.
this and do you remember walter are my two favorite songs on this kinks cd.well they are all very good but these two are my favorite from this album but its a 5 star album.most americans are idiots and dont even know this album that includes people from the 60s like my parents all they listen to is motown.
OK, I think the Kinks were heavier at the beggining, later, they turn to be more Pop, but there's nothing wrong w/ that, it was a very intelligent pop, wonderful music.

Sounds like Day After Day by Badfinger

This song came out a couple of years before anything Badfinger did. Day after day is a good song though.

beatles are pop-rock(excellent). kinks are pop ,and pop, and more pop.
Duenderelojero 3 years ago
I think the Beatles were more pop than Kinks were more pop rock.

Yeah it always was pop, I am just saying that they have a heavier side too. This song is a better example of their pop side.
