wierd my account had this dlc and i saved my game then deleted the dlc and loaded the saved game and my guy spawned with an invisible gun and was upside down standing on an invisable wall over megaton.

I'm glad you're on PC. I need help. I recently bought Fallout 3 Game Of The Year for PC. This is what happened for me.

1: i couldn't install it(The DLC disc) ... it simply froze, so i copied the contents to a folder and installed it from there without incident.

2: NOTHING. I simply have a new tab in the main menu; Downloads or something.

3: I was never able to access any of the dlc packs. So i decided to try Mothership Zeta.

4: i went to the location YOUR quest marker said to---

Do i need to finish the game beforehand?

@jesseLC18, you can get your stuff back no matter what you bring, ammo, armor, weapons, food, etc. but you are better off only bringing a few pounds of stuff (some aid, couple grenades, and food sanitizer) so that you can carry more crap from the aliens (weapons, epoxy, bio gel, etc.)

Besides "Point Lookout" and "The Pitt" this is the best DLC for Fallout 3.

I wasnt so much into "Operation Anchorage" and "Broken Steel" for they are principally based on the same theme.

ok i have the Addon and i will explain it to you see first you go to the source of the radio signal yeah like in eavry addon yet there is a radio signal than you see the alien ship not the one that sucks you up the one with the Alien Blaster next to the dead alien than you are in a cell just like shown here than you break out kill a bunch of aliens and come to container with you gear hope this explained it to you

Here's a cool idea for a downloadable content. The story takes place after Fallout 3 ended, you play as a unnamed Brotherhood of Steel, while trying to stop the Super Mutants at their source. A plan has been laid out, but naturally nothing goes as planed. The problem is that I can't think of a good title.

Fallout 3: Aftermath sounds good. MrTinkotin maybe we can come with new weapons as well. My idea for a weapon would called The Rail Gun. Unlike the railway rifle, The Rail Gun fires bullets at extremely high speeds. Like the Deathclaw gauntlet The Rail Gun ignores armor to cause major damage. But unlike the Deathclaw gauntlet The Rail Gun can be fired at a distance & can cause even for damage. The Rail Gun is perfect taking on tough foes.
