I'm pretty sure that the DTES was attracting these people before the safe injection site. I'd hate to see what may be a very innocent statement get that much needed public service shut down because it's inaccurate.

@thedeepestdream I had been searching the area for Ken and Lisa for several weeks around Xmas time of 2009. I only saw Ken once and never saw Lisa, a few locals I had spoken to said they figured she was dead or moved out of the area. Not until about one month ago (late February 2010) when I stopped and chatted with Ken did I find out that Lisa is alive and well and trying to get off heroin with a methadone program.
