@dastupidcherry that's Ken's ultra combo, i think u do it with: [forward 1/4 circle] [forward 1/4 circle] + LMH Punch

@herman 1000200: you probably are lacking one of the other hidden characters, you must get them all before fighting for akuma, exept gouken and seth, the rest you must get em and i would recomen clearing the game with each of them, but its not necessary, but to get akuma, you must get the rest first, the same thing happened to me, i got the rest, then fought him again and bingo x)

download a program called FRAPS

its 3D screen capture program. "assuming you play on pc"

if you play on console, you will have to buy a media recorder "80$ to 200$" for good simple ones with not much cables

or a good getto tactic u can use too, get a DVD player that Burns! then record everything you do then edit and cut parts in your pc afterwards =P

here is what you have to do.After unlocking Sakura, Dan, Cammy, Fei Long, Gen and Rose, Play with someone you've beat the game with and get at least 1 perfect (on single round matches) and use no continues.

So, does it matter what difficulty you play it with? I have been trying it with medium hard. And Im getting my ass kick on Seth every time. I can only imagine how hard the next levels are.

I don't know. I would guess if you lose and keep continuing, as long as you beat him, you should unlock him, but I am just guessing.

i think to unlock akuma is unlock gen,cammy,rose,dan,sakura,fei long,and whoever else im missing besides seth and gouken,play arcade mode and get 1 perfect

It sounds like that is one of the pre-requirements. I happened to have all of them, and I had beaten the game with all of them, but that is probably not necessary.

My understanding is you don't need an ultra finish for Akuma.  Just the one perfect, but do it before fighting Seth. You need one perfect and three ultra finishes for Gouken, which I have a separate vid for.

Ok THANKS dood i unlocked him. Took me two tries the first try he hit me w/ his Ultra and time ran out and the second time he got slaughtered!! Thanks again dood.

I got 1 perfect, 1 ultra, 0 super finishes to get Akuma. I don't think you need the ultra. But you need to get the perfect before Seth most likely. I got my lone perfect on Seth once and Akuma did not appear. Also, you can't continue.
