Really good Matt. I have a question, Did you ever have to use an older Mac when you didn't have a newer intel one? I remember I was stuck in that situation for years and now I have a nice intel one. Good video (as usual!) I do have a suggestion however! Maybe one day you could touch on the App store for the Mac.. programs you do, or don't recommend from the store for an Apple machine. For example, I found an AWESOME app the other day that is a complete history of all previous Apple models. A VERY cool little app called "MacTracker"

It's very accurate. I bought a couple of MacBook Pros for my girlfriend and I only to watch the newer ones come out less than eight weeks later. But we still love them anyway. Did you use any type of self-portrait viewing for this video?... I see you have a video of how to do it on your iPad but you are reading from it in the video ... So I was just wondering what you are using to view yourself as you shoot this Q&A for this video in particular (If you are using any at ALL)

@iMhike I just used the LCD viewer on the camera (its a 60D so it swings out). The camera is actually a lot closer to me that it looks because I'm using a wide angle lens.

@JuneNightingale It looks like either a skin or just a dedicated Final Cut keyboard. It has labels and colour coding for the shortcuts used in Final Cut. You can get similar skins and keyboards for other software too. Really handy if you use it a lot especially when you're editing in low light. Makes things easier to see.

Do you think different types of lenses on cameras change they way the brightness will look. Cause I have a t1i kit lens, and it really doesn't do well with low light.

@TheLatesTech Aperture of the lens has a direct effect on light gathering. I assume the kit lens you have has a max of f/3.5, which isn't going to give you great low light shots.

Im actually learning After Effects right now. It gets at little easier as you use it. Im trying to make a tron legacy short. I got the glowing lines down with some blue painters tape and keying it out and adding color and glow. Fun stuff. But ever since I switched to mac Ive been wanting to use sony vegas since I mastered that program and its easier.

@nic3Chris It is a special keyboard designed for final cut. I believe you can purchase it at your local apple store, but it just shows you all of the shortcuts for final cut, to make you life a lot simpler :)
