When I import my clip, it is in slow mo. Why?

@xNoobishh the first time you play your video that you've imported , after effects renders all the frames that's why its slow, you'll see a green bar scrolling across the screen where the "Current Time Indicator" is.... after the green scrolls across the video should play normally.

@kmncztms If you didn't create a new composition you'll need to do that, then click and drag your video file towards the black box and you should be able to play / edit it.

Umm, is mp4 h.264 bad for importing? Tried to convert to prores 422, same result just 20 times bigger file.... I really don't get it.

u have to change the format of the video, that happened to me when i used sony vegas 7.0. all i did was load the clip into WMM then render it as a different format ...

In After Effects the sound will not play. But once u are finished with the effects to ur clip and export the clip back out of After Effects then the sound will be there. Hoped this helped :)!
