My wife and I began sailing on a Balboa 22 in 1980. We moved to Windrose 26 and then a Pearson 323, which we sailed on San Francisco Bay and coastal CA since 1987. In May we sold the Pearson. Watching your videos in which you erect and sail your West Wight Potter 19 has motivated me to seriously consider purchasing the Potter 19. I like the ease of trailering and erecting the boat. Kanaloa seems to sail nicely in moderate conditions. How is she in heavy weather? Any comments?

It was a brand new boat and this was her maiden voyage. I was just getting the feel for her on the first tack. After sailing for over 45 years, I still consider myself a novice.
I thing your wife was pressing too many buttons.

I like those Potters but there are not a lot in my region. I sail on the Saint-Laurent, near Montreal.
Nice clips!
