@wkyguy61 I think I've cleaned it out pretty good. ;) I bet I dug 200 copper Lincolns from the 60's and 70's. It was like someone planted them and tried to grow a crop. :) I did manage 13 silvers and a silver medallion, though.
@kyshooters exactly where are you at in Kentucky? I live 30 miles south of Louisville in the town of Shepherdsville. I myself metal detect and upload the videos to YouTube. I detect with an Ace 250 and a Garret Pro Pointer. Any chance of doing a hunt like jack squat and pulltab do? If you wanna try and meet up sometime I'd love to go on a hunt with you. We have quite a few abandoned houses in the area and I love doing research on them before I go. Send me a message sometime. Thanks man.
Great hunt..Congrats on the six silvers..Don't forget..Not only can you detect cents that read as dimes & quarters...I have dug MANY silvers that the VID was in the penny & LOW penny range...HH
@AmericanCoinHunting - True dat. But at this site, there is something different about the soil. Everything reads high. If I get an 82-84, it's a dime. Every single time. Kinda weird.
I have found that in all sites that we have hunted (WithOut Exception)..When we find wheats & memorials in the silver VID range...We also find silver coins in the lower copper range...No matter what soil..Take my advice or not...It has served us Very well.DIG Lower VID's...If you have the option of variable tones...USE IT.& Dig the high tones...It has gained me & my hunting buds ..Hundreds of extra silver coins!

@kyshooters hi shooter hope you and your family his having a nice christmas yesterday i found a small silver spill two roseys a 64 and 48 and about a dozen wheats and alot of clad but i liked the coal script i found anyway you have a nice jesus birthday brother
@cummings1968 also i wanted to add this little coinmaster keeps amazing me i would recomend to anyone who cant pay alot for a detector this is the answer whites coinmaster comes with 9 inch spider coil target id depth and pinpoint 179 plus tax its paid for itself easy i sold that 1897o barber half that paid for it whites keeps making some amazing detectors whites should send me headphones and pinpointer for advertising for them lol have good one brother
@kyshooters i know this is christmas but its 55 degrees here i went to one of my new yards i wish i would have had a video cam i got a good strong quarter signal about 3 inches deep turned the plug over seen silver got it out to my suprize nice 1912 barber quarter other then two rim nicks its just awesome full liberty this is really a high grade coin if it wasnt for the rim knicks made my day for sure another for the little coinmaster have a good one brother
I went to 3rd and 4th grade at that school. If it's where I think it is. About 2 miles from my house.
