  • I know this is a simulation, but I would at least make it look like i was in a hurry. I hope these guys aren't this slow in real life!

  • what is the purpose of the attack line if it is not charge before entering the building?

  • in a perfect world, this is exactly how it SHOULD happen, however, we do not live in a perfect world.....also i dislike the firefighter removing his glove at 3:18

  • ha at my station the first in engine or duty officer gives a size up like smoke and flames showing, then tells the first in compeny witch door to make entry though

  • you arnt allowed in untill the second due engine gets there? the fire could be knocked down by the time they get there. yet another thing the state sticks their nose into something that they have no knowledge of

  • What are the didfernt types of hoses?

  • there going in to do a search with no rope or irons?

  • Wait a sec at 3:35 The person on the radio is talking to command is the oic not still the 1st engines officer. Would that mean he was talking to himself?

  • I'm 17 and a jr. In high school. How do I become a volly??

  • @durfeefootball79 contact your local vol. dept........ good luck

  • go to your local volly station and ask them about becoming a member

  • never ever take any part of your PPE off at any time in a burning structure (i.e. gloves) . This will cause severe burns.

  • HANDS ON THE WALL! lol

  • how many other depts enter a burning structure without charging the hose line first?

  • We never enter with a charged hose line. What's the point? If we aren't near the fire, it will just slow us down. Most guys inside don't even have a line. The truck companies and rescues do their work without one.

We are a bit more aggressive though than most places since we more people on scene being a large east coast department.

  • @ew6208 there are a few out in my area. The reason i got when i asked them questions was so that they can get through and do a search easily with out worrying about the charged line being difficult to pull around corners. this way with the uncharged line you can manuever quicker. to me i kind of like having water already there with out calling for it cause say if one radio didnt charge correctly or both have no signal, then you come into an issue when there are flames every where but thats me

  • FF might have received a burn on his hand at 3:18 if this was a real fire. Don't take off your gloves even in training/demo. Great video regardless. Thanks for posting!

  • Thank you for posting im looking into becoming a fulltime firefighter or at least a volunteer.

  • Every firefighter is a hero. Gotta love what they do. great educational vid. I learned a few things

  • that hose aint gonna do much without no h2o

  • Gotta love the size up! Trying to write an essay with it?

  • Excellent

  • a lot of state laws for u guys keeping u from search and rescue and bringing the line into the structure y should u wait at the door when there are live on the other side of it

  • no water in that hose

  • It's a demonstration....

  • they entered with a un-charged hose

  • Great video!!!! did not know anything about how you fought the fire. Keep on making great videos.

  • great video but why is the firefighter putting the webbing on the victim taking his glove off? you can clearly see it through the video of the TIC.

  • great video!!!

  • Wow, this is a really good video! :)
