Review #1 FC 16 GO (the portable super nintendo)

How did you get mario RPG to work? I have a NTSC copy coming in the mail, but its the japanese one.

Did you do anything specifially

@FacePlant92 All I had to do was let the game play in my super nintendo for a few minutes then it would work. Some fc 16 go work without doing this and some require this to be done. Also the fc 16 go can only play american games. It cannot play japanese games without modding the system.

@motherwii I have left mine in for about half an hour or so, how long do you think it needs to stay in because it won't work for me.............

@Irockd23 I assume you are talking about mario rpg. You let your game play in your super nintendo for about half an hour and tried it in the fc 16go and it won't work? I only had to leave mine in and let the game play for a couple of minutes, then it would play.

@motherwii Oh, I didn't see everything you said, you left it in a regular super nintendo then put it in the fc16 go, well I don't have a regular super nintendo.... Any other ideas?

@Irockd23 Maybe you could play a game until the fc 16 go is warm then see if mario rpg will play. I have a game on the genesis that will only play after the system has been warmed up awhile.

All of these games came out before you were born... where did you obsession come from?

@marmar3291 I was born in 1987 and the SNES came out in 1991. I got my SNES when I was in 1st grade. I don't have an "obsession" with the SNES, it both nostalgic and my favorite console.

I have one I got it today and it is playing my copy of Mario RPG just fine.

I don't really know. I tried it on my SNES jr and then tried it on the fc 16 go and it worked.

how do the controllers feel and how long does the battery life last

The controllers feel like SNES controllers, but they are a bit thicker and the plastic seems cheap. The battery life on the system is about 3 hours.
