The recruiting from without is driven by a lack of those interested to do so which happens to be in their own country. If they had to recruit 80% would that pose any concern for you? People who share no bonds or love for your country will often not do what is your country's interest.

I'm in the UK with our state run healthcare - our doctors are awesome, regardless of their origins. And in our society which is very tolerant of Muslims or any religion, we realise that those Muslims are just as furious at terrorism as we are. Our health service isn't perfect, but every time I've had to use it, it has been fantastic. I'm proud of our NHS.
I think people are waking up a little, though. Americans might not have a firm grasp of math, science, history, economics, or even their own language, but we are far more sophisticated consumers of media than we are usually given credit for.

I'm in the UK with our state run healthcare - our doctors are awesome, regardless of their origins. And in our society which is very tolerant of Muslims or any religion, we realise that those Muslims are just as furious at terrorism as we are. Our health service isn't perfect, but every time I've had to use it, it has been fantastic. I'm proud of our NHS.

I think people are waking up a little, though. Americans might not have a firm grasp of math, science, history, economics, or even their own language, but we are far more sophisticated consumers of media than we are usually given credit for.
This type of thing isn't changing minds because the only people watching are already right wing nuts, and I like to think even they consider shows like this to be over the top and just watch as a guilty pleasure.
