Today SF Rep Nancy Pelosi posted her weekly youtube address, and the hate that was expressed by some virulently warped people was palpable and disgusting -- one of them even threatened to kill both myself and her... But I guess that's par for the course these days with the h8ers rueing over the departure of Bush/Cheney and the past 8 yrs of abysmal use of govt largesse... California is having problems, no denying that, but Cali could easily be it's own country, so it's a lot to keep track of.

Republican state legislatures suck horribly too. I live in AZ. Our state government just closed a bunch of really important, old state parks to "cut costs".

Yeah, turns out it actually costs the state twice as much to close the parks as it does to keep them open! And they're still doing it!

My state legislature is psycho, and wants to privatize EVERYTHING.

She had one insane AZ rep who claims that blacks were actually better off during slavery than today, because so many blacks are having legal abortions. I think I'd have to move out of that state if I lived there.
