Schumacher really pissed all over the rest without Senna on the track. Even when the FIA gave him a 2 race ban and a black flag, he still won the title! What a farce it would've been if Hill won the championship.

i know! everybody bangs on about schumacher hitting hill, but there would've been a huge controversy anyway if hill did win it because of schumacher's 2 race ban... and of course that stupid penalty in britain...

You mean a farce like a team and driver winning drivers' title with a car that had banned software in the engine control unit and they didn't even hand it to the FIA until 3 weeks later, enough time to cover the worst breaches, plus the fuel rig modification. Why would it be any bigger of a farce?

for me, this was one of the best period for f1:many cars and drivers fighting for the victory, much much failures...and the engines were so different:v12 for the ferrari, v10 for williams, and i think benetton had the ford v8...good times
