NAVTEQ 2010: NAVTEQ Natural Guidance

Absolutely AWFUL idea, and as a long-time TomTom user with a top-of-the-line GPS, I will avoid any future models including Natural Guidance unless the feature can be completely disabled. Navteq can't even manage to make road updates in a timely manner -- I added a new road in my neighborhood on Navteq's site with citation to my local GIS system to back it up, and two years later it hasn't been added. How will directions work when the green awning in this clip gets taken down, and no update made?

Please no! People drove into lakes in rural areas using GPS before and now what will they do? Get lost in the city? Drive around the whole town looking for that green building to turn right which was painted blue last month?!

@Shini1984 I'm pretty sure the GPS can do 'normal' directions too, so if you miss the object or location marker it will just re-direct you in a normal fashion.

@Shini1984 I think it will, maybe some getting used to I guess. But for most of us that also counted when we started the 'regular' GPS as well. Let's face it, how often are you driving around thinking "Is this 300 meters or 400? Do I have to turn right now or the next street?" So I think this could really help with that sort of insecurity.
