  • H0\/\/ c4\/\ s1-13 t\/\/1st hEr WrIsT?

  • I watched a live concert version of this song before I saw this... never did I know the audience was mimicking the actions of a bunch of monkeys.

  • Hehe love this game! I have both the English & Japanese version!

(P.S.: No rudeness intended, but er... saying "Jap" is offensive. I don't want to sound all "educational", but... google "Jap offensive" and you'll get the full deets. I just want to escalate this issue, with all due respects.)

  • i can sing the song in jap or english

  • This is much better than the english D:

  • is there any way of getting this game in the japanese version in the US? OwO

  • the japanese version sings better

  • it cute

  • doki~ doki~ doki~ :3

  • watching this gave me courage to do fan club 2...

    dont ask why

  • Of course if you don't speak a language, sometimes it's easier to appreciate the music when you don't have that "distraction" ;).

  • Japanese

  • People are just silly racists who don't deserve great Japanese goods :P

  • I like this one a hella lot better than the english...

  • in rhythm heaven monkey hear, monkey do was really called fan club

  • I too like the English dub better, despite the odd lyrics... The Japanese version is still good too, though.

  • i get what your saying in some parts. Its just cultures tend to enjoy other cultures cause they are fascinated by other cultures. I wont get all technical, but yeah many americans tend to foward to japanese since its new and they enjoy it such as other country's tend to like american music way better. I guess it'll depend on the person persay. For me, i enjoy them both and it kept to the beat and rhythm, just different voice actors.

  • Yeah, that's true. What I don't like is - "the Japanese versions are ALWAYS better!!". Wow some people really don't have a life... downrating my comment heh. What was wrong with my comment? Come on kids, I'm not allowed to prefer the English version?

I'm even learning Japanese myself. It's just when you get to the stage where you think anything and everything Japanese is superior (and I'm not American), then you're clearly getting a little bit obssessive (and also probably deluded).

  • Yeah, i know some people like that. Depends on where your from i guess, i can name several people American music over anything else. i listen to Japanese music, i'm just not a "huge" fanatic. I just think its very very good to culturalize yourself, and still keep your moral standings, But that is just where i come from and what i see in life.

  • Absolutely, I agree with that :).

  • @phaarix

I personally like originals over remakes, unless it's funnier - and the english version certainly sounds funny.. but not in a good way, more of a bad voice with lyrics that sound way too corny in english

  • Well I wouldn't limit myself in such a way. If I like something I like something, simple as that. And considering the context (come on, the game is hardly serious) I think the "corniness" is kind of the whole point. It works for me. But I can understand if it doesn't work for others of course :). Anyway, do you speak Japanese (just out of curiosity)? How do you know the lyrics don't sound "corny" in Japanese?

  • Regardless of language, I only like it if it sounds good, and I can't honestly tell you that it sounds good at all, I think it sounds terrible.

and yes, I do speak Japanese, I live in Kyoto. Songs in Japanese usually never tend to rhyme, however because Japanese has a lot of similar sounds ( unlike English ) it's easier to rhyme sometimes.

The lyrics in Japanese aren't really 'that' corny, but the meanings of the words are ambiguous and aren't literal translations to the english version

  • Yes well, to each their own (that's all I've really been trying to say - in a long winded and rather pointless way).

  • Japanese singer sound SO much better!! love this song even if it a video game ^^

  • Then get this game and a DS and support the people making this game so they can make more of it... geez....

  • you know japaneese?

  • Who is the singer?

    歌手はだれ?

  • Hashiguchi Erina.

  • @random198625 what girl in the game ^^

  • This one is better than the english.

the japanese dubs are always better then the english.

    o__o;;

  • wasn't it originally japanese anyway? The English is the dub.

    <<

But yeah, the english is the worst thing i've ever heard.

  • its not a dub, it was japanese to begin with.

  • wow, Japanese sounds MUCH better

  • @codelyokofan13 Yeah. The English dub sounds like it's sung by a bored Marzipan.

  • That's right! The English version of this is so dull, when my friend plays that game it's so annoying listening to it, but I love this version so!

As someone already said, the Japanese singer puts emotions into it and sounds really cute, while the English one sounds boring and tired, and extremely monotonous.

  • It's the punkiest monkey fanclub that ever popped!

  • my first perfect :)

  • i think it was my 2nd perfect... or 3rd... but still... wow its long time ago i played the first XD

  • One time, I wanted to fail at this game for no reason, so instead of doing the beat that it told me to, I did my own patter all through out the level, and guess what?

    I got OK!

  • i suppose u could do better is what i got when i first tried! lol

  • Karbonade :D

  • Great job, my fellow leftie.

  • You mean "DOKI DOKI DOKI!" -_-;

It's a japanese for the sound of a beating heart.

  • Doki Doki Majo Shinpan?! O.O XD

  • HOLY SHIT!!!

    YOUR LEFT HANDED!?

  • and.. whatts weird or amazing about that?

  • Im just surprised...

  • HOLY SHIT!!!

    AND?!

  • /watch?v=oThNdKK2IK4&feature=related

this song belongs to a idol, i never think that XD

  • i onli get ok TT>TT

  • I agree, they could've made her voice sound cuter in the English one.

But they still did a pretty good job of keeping the lyrics similar and voices somewhat similar. :3

  • so easy

  • Wow! You manage to completely sync with the others. :D

I have the English one. I like both of the singers, even though it sounds like the English one sounds like a 40 year old. o.o

  • ^_^ i lyke both 2 b honest... im gettn this game aftr i graduate but does eny 1 kno wen da pink dsi is comin out in america??? its been buggin me 4 dayz now..

  • It has been pretty well localized in the French version but it'll never worth the original version.

Btw, "kamo ne ?" is translated by "C'est certain" in French. Which means... "That's sure".

  • It's "I suppose" in english

  • That's right, the english version is closer to the original version than the french version.

  • I know how you've done that.

You've plugged in the nintendo ds sound output into the computer line in port.

Then you can record all the sound from that port. but nice video.

  • Dude when i was playing the english version I thought the singer should have a much sweeter voice like this one. Wonder why they can't hire someone that can Do this voice instead of making the english sound all dull and less cute. It isn't hard right?

  • If she is an anime seiyū, PLEASE SAY SO!!! (And list her projects... omg now the english version sucks and this one is definitely better.)

  • Someone told me once she was an idol and that this song is like this. When she sings people clap.

    I also like her voice.

  • I heard the English version of this, and since I'm so used to the Japanese one ( Since I got my game imported due to impatience :X), I like this one a LOT more, since the singer actually sounds like she's enjoying the song. :S

  • my gosh!..i never tought the japanese has a more energetic sound than the english one!!lol

  • u should see the girl at watch?v=oThNdKK2IK4&NR=1 man shes nice=p if you know what i mean^^

  • She sounds so cute! She sounds bored in the english one

  • Yeah the English singer sounds bland.

  • i wanna get the jap. version...

    i don't like the english version. )=

  • this one gets stuck in my head...aaah

  • i like this version better than the american version. D: americas ruin everything. :/ but at least they made it english, so i give them props for that i guess. but they could have just kept the song in its original, with english subtitles or soemthing, but i dunno. ^^; oh well. ;]

  • The japanese is cute.

  • i suck at this one

  • And I though agent cody banks was a terrible movie

  • good one

  • omg im so stuck on this one.

  • sing along! yea yea yea hey now here is my song for u, yea thats right i wish that i was urs but im 2 shy i suppose if only i cood just conjure a spell kapow hocous hocous hocous then u and i wood be together 4 all time i suppose is it love tat makes my heart go boom boom boom yea i suppose love u love u love u mor than yester day i suppose yea yea yea! XD
  • that's just the rhythm heaven version. They didn't do a literal translation did they?

  • It is quite literal I think. Though I hate the singing in the US version...the original is faar better.

  • I'm stuck on the second one. I hate the "Ooooh YEAH!" part. D:

  • ... "I suppose" I prefered the english version. "Yeah, yeah, yeah"!

  • i think the dub sounds better in this song, because in the original they tried to make the monkeys sound like a real monkey....but in the dub its good.

  • US version should have just sub this song instead turn it into sucky english version

  • this song sounds a lot better in japanese

  • :D so catchy the song

    i love this stage XD

  • Does anyone know what this song is called? I'm looking for an MP3. Thanks!

  • かけだしアイドル (ドキッ!こういうのが恋なの?)

This is the title of the song, from the Game's OST :)

  • @yvreetesh hi can u give me the Japanese lyrics ? pls send it to me

  • english version of this song is really sucky... no spirit on it, love the jap version :)

  • §Another of my favorite game songs... :D

P.S.: The minigame is titled "Idol" (アイドル)

  • I like the song!

  • Oh this one is soo eazy! i got perfect on my first try!

  • the cartoon girl reminds me of yaguchi mari

  • Ka-mo-ne hoy! Really catchy, both Rhythm Tengoku games have catchy clap songs.

  • I'm stuck on this one, I'm not really sure how to do it properly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

  • I've put the basic rules in the description, but here is a nice and detailed desc for you :D

When the girl says "hai hai" or something like "suki Suki" you will have to tap the screen 4 times as seen @0:17

Then when she says "Come-on-eee" tap and hold the stylus till the monkeys finish saying "Coooooome" then tap twice afterwards.for the final jump, slide the stylus upwards.

Practice these steps before starting, in the first screen that appears after selecting the game.

    Hope this helps :D

  • Many thanks, I managed to do it now. : )

I forgot to mention, great video as well.

  • Thats cool :D Glad to know I could be of some help :D

If you have questions about any other level, feel free to ask in my profile if the video doesnt exist, I will try my best to make a video :D

  • HElp me! Where's the Coffee guy that lets you skip stages? PLEASE HELP!

  • ... I really hate to admit it, but that song is CUTE...

  • Haha, Same here XD This and especially that "Idol in a Box" one.

  • I've heard someone comment that she is saying "Ta-mo-ne", but it sounds more like "Ka-mo-ne"...

  • I always thought that she says "Come On, eh" :P

  • It's definitely "ka mo ne". I can read it but I don't understand the language. It probably IS "come on eh" but Japanised lol.

  • Kamone is written in hiragana, so it might not be "come on".

  • As it turns out, it means "Hmm, maybe, who knows".
