The first one had an english bull terrier, a labrador and a siamese cat. This one has a golden retriever, an american bulldog and a fluffball. I prefer the first one, not as schmaltzy.

They mean the original - The Incredible Journey, done in the sixties. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey was a remake. =3 The first one if often obscured by Homeward Bound, but is also a good movie.
