I have one of those little blue malawis, it is the cutest fish I have ever seen watching him dig out his little home under a bit of Malawi ornament I bought in the corner of the tank.

Just a suggestion..... But shouldn't they be in a bigger tank? My africans (6) are about 7" in a 55 gallon and it still seems tooo small. Anyway, BEAUTIFUL FISH :)
@ShammSkeenx012 dont listen to him, you can have as many fish you want in a tank, it just comes down to water maintenece, good filtration, and a balanced diet
get rid of the goldfish they are very dirty animals and will cause problems for your cichlids get the 30 put your cichlids in and keep the goldfish in the 10 gallon
bigger tank for cichlids man, dont confine em and get the fuckin goldfish outa there before they nip its fins off and kill it... be a responsible cichlid owner bro...
i dont like seeing these 10 gallon cichlid tanks you should get a 30 or more and crowd it with cichlids a good 10 cichlids in a 30 should be ok well atleast until they get a little bigger some malawi cichlids can get 6 inches or more.
Ahhhh! Watch that ?feeder? goldfish! They are able to get sick way easier in a tropical tank and can get your tropical fish sick too. Other than that it's cute, you'll need that 30gl though if you don't have it already.
You're best advice would be to take the Goldfish out of the tank since the African Cichlids are very aggressive fish as is and also because the Cichlids need a heated tank and a Goldfish needs cooler water. I just upgraded to a 30 Gallon Tank and I have 5 Cichlids in it. There is room for more but I might keep it at 5.

see those cichlid can grow pretty big, so the best you can do in a 10 gallon is probably 2 dwarf cichlid is the max, even tho you have to becareful with the water, keep it clean and healthy.
wow you really dont wanna do the same thing i did since your ten gallon tank is small and not really that good of a fish tank you might need to get a larger tank if you dont then do this get your ten gallon tank on its cycle for 4 weeks replace the filter piece inside of the filter was out the filter then add 2 guppies in let them sit for a while 2 weeks then clean your gravel with gravel cleaner buy 4 small flower vases so they can fit in your tank remove guppies and add in 1 small dwarf ciclid
these guys need a big tank, like 55gals plus really.....and the striped ones a metriclima lombardio or "kenyi, and the orange one is a metriclima esthrae or "red zebra" both of these fish will get over 5inches and will probably kill the goldfish before too long.
hey man ... I don't think they will, you need several of the same fish and of both genders. Also, I don't think the goldfish is helping out- ... looks nice though, and keep up the good work. ( your little purple one can turn into my big orange one if its a male )
they like the log. they go through most of the time and go up where there is another small whole. you can get one at walmart for like 10 dollars. its pretty good. i mite get a bigger tank and add rocks in
I like them two fish they're in my favorite kind of cichlid list!
