Ive been listening to this channel since 1995 and this is definetly he worst its ever been.

The sunday evening show at 6.00pm,with unknown journalists waffling is so boooooring.Iim mean,why dont have a phone in for the fans for the fans,on sundays.Christ weve just finished the sunday football and we need at least 2 hours of the fan phone discussing the outcome of the games.

@gmaccruyff55 Mike Parry and Ian Collins werent sacked-they both chose to move onto other things.The stations output has been collapsing since Kelvin MaKenzie lost control of the station and UTV took over back in 2006.One of talkSPORTs biggest format flaws in my opinion is their insistance that every show must have 2 presenters.The 2 presenters arguing (in an attempt to get callers to take sides) is beyond lazy.Can you imagine Darren Gough hosting a show by himself?

@winterlandboy Ian Collins joined talkradio uk about a month after the station began.He replaced Chad Benson (Who was Wild Al Kellys replacement). Mike Dickin joined the station later on in the year after Caesar The Geezer was sacked.

McKenzie had to make the changes,because the station had very few listeners,and nobody wanted to advertise with them.Iv got a ton of old talkradio uk stuff on cassette tapes and im planning to upload it all in the new year.

Really great radio,the likes of which will never be heard again sadly. All that talent.Hawksby and Jacobs would have fitted in back then. Great.

@winterlandboy Iv got a treasure trove of cassettes full of talkradio UK stuff.I got most of Wild Al Kellys 2 weeks at the station.Tons of Tommy Boyd (The angry hour ect).Caesar the geezers 'a meteor is going to hit the moon' windup.I also have a tape full of jingles for the shows of that amazing first month of the station. My personal fave tape is a Tommy Boyd tape (Human Zoo Era) and he argues with a caller who calls him a Murdoch puppet-Tommy replies with 'Shut it,you shitface' !! lol.

@MOTHIKAS I don't think anyone had heard anything like Talk Radio before.It was fantastic with the old lineup.I enjoy it to this day but I recognise how much it's changed and not all for the better..I thought that under Moz Dee,they were going to relaunch a separate Talk Radio station.I have no idea what happened but obviously that idea never did.It;s really too bad as well.There is no national talk radio other than 5 Live which leaves me cold apart from Danny Baker.

Parry and Townsend was the best, tops, numero uno, Graham a poor replacement but whilst legend Parry was there a brilliant listen weekday mornings.
