Damian's voice is a little too operatic for Threshold's music, he's a great vocalist, but I feel Mac's vocal timbre fits better in Threshold.

I don't know if I actually like Damian's work, or if I'm just tolerating him doing songs that I loved for years before he returned. Regardless, he's not butchering them, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't know if this music style really suits him, overall, though.

I caught these guys at ProgPower Fest 2007 in Atlanta, and they rocked. I was disappointed that Mac had left the band, as I thought his voice was perfect for the music. However, Damien filled in quite nicely.
