  • Thanks for this...Japan were never a band that seemed to ignite the stage - in the past this could have been put down to shyness but even this seemed a clinical by their standards. Watching this reminded me very much of the cold war between Charles and Di on their visit to India - the writing was on the wall :(

  • Thanks for the Quality upload. Great to see this again.

  • Cantonese boys sounds a little like Duran Duran's Girls on Film..They even look alike :-)

  • @edisonoside I think you have that flipped.

  • @edisonoside

Japan was a huge influence on Duran Duran, visually anyway. And the funky bass...but that's about it. Japan was in a world all their own.

  • @edisonoside Nick Rhodes (the brains and writing talent of Duran) began life as a David Sylvian wannabe look alike.

  • up load thanks

  • The guy on guitar is David Rhodes. Uber session man. Most notable for his work with Peter Gabriel. The tension on this clip is palpable......

  • @plagueofchrist

yeah, really...at this point it's the David Sylvian Band and no one looks amused.

  • rich is on the right side of the stage . odd

  • Who's the blond guy on the guitar in Ghosts, and where's Rich?

  • Thanks for posting this!!! BIIIIIIIITCHIIIIIIIINNNN!!!! YEAAAAAHH!!! ;D

  • Always wanted to see this in a good quality! Thanks a lot!
