you guys stopped by and listened to my song - so I thought I would check you out and I noticed you had done a cover of this song that appeared on the Decca Beatle auditions - always found it hard to do a cover of a beatle song whether it was their original or not as they had this uncanny ability to make someone else song even better - but I liked your version kept the humour of the song - will listen to others now

Although I really enjoy The Beatles version of this - I have to say The Coasters studio out takes are amazing. It's so much thicker than any other cut i've found.

Hey Ron, We put this together yesterday - we were home alone and couldn't think of anything better to do ;)

The laughing was on 2 vocal tracks. Shuie's first take on the bass vocal went well until the last note which i don't think he'd thought about until he got there and didn't make it. 2nd - is me tripping over the mic stand at the end of my vocals.. made funnier as just before the take I was moaning at how 'unprofessional' he was acting lol.

We muted the thump - kept the laugh
