Purely in terms of meaningful contributions to the discussion in my opinion she was dwarfed by Gingrich, Paul, even Cain. Odd how certain people get so much support. Pauls anti-war bluntness and 'common sense' style will probably resonate with a lot of people and Gingrich has a kind of seasoned, level headed in control persona that might be effective with the public with the economic uncertainty and such. The debate started slow but got a lot better around the halfway point to the end.

You can't blame Bachmann for not getting results in congress. The democrats had complete control of both houses of congress for 4 years. Pauls anti-war bluntness and 'common sense' style will probably resonate with a lot of people and Gingrich has a kind of seasoned, level headed in control persona that might be effective with the public with the economic uncertainty and such. The debate started slow but got a lot better around the halfway point to the end.

You can't blame Bachmann for not getting results in congress. The democrats had complete control of both houses of congress for 4 years. Even though I'm not a Bachmann fan, you can't blame her for not being able to stop Obama and the democrats agenda. After the 2006 and 2008 elections, the democrats had a firm grip on congress and the republicans were virtually powerless to stop them from passing legislation.
