  • Thank you providing the ONLY REVIEW on Celicas that is worth while to watch! Im getting a GT-S within the next few months and this is the only review that shows everything.

  • nice review m8, don't u have a problem with wind noise coming from the door seal and also how's your suspension, firm or more soft, comfy?

  • @xmertonx Wow dude, lol I thought I was the only mother fucker with that problem, but to answer your question yes there is a slight noise(coming from the passenger side) windshield/door. My suspension is tight as shit, I will warn you the (stock)shocks are fucking expensive as shit for some reason.

  • GREAT review! I am getting my license in the next few days, and I am going to save for this car

  • I have the same car, mine is an 05 though, and a 5spd manual with leather seats! Nice review though.

  • i live in alexandria too ♥ are you selling car? =p

  • My dream car <3

  • 35 mpg in city? Are you kidding?

  • Does anybody know where I can find the color codes on the celicas?

  • I have a pretty good deal on a standard celica its either a 2002 - 2005 make.. how's the insurance? you mentioned not bad..

  • Should install some underglow to go sexxy xD

  • Whats the price range around this car?

  • This is a really great video!

  • Zephyr Blue Metallic is the name of the color. And my 2003 Celica still has fully operational power windows - never needed any work done.

  • i have a question. i have the GT and i was thinking to get the GT-S just for the extra HP

but at the same time i can tune the 5spd GT like a turbocharger and other mods and get the same or even better performace as the GT-S but not shore

  • @xGLITCHESx Hey, i own a 01, Celica GT with barely hitting 60,000 original KMs, and the GT can infact keep up with a GTS for the first half of mile, but then thats when the GTS starts pulling away, doing some extra stuff i can keep up with a GTS,

Weight reduction can actually increase HP!!!!! (Taking off 10lbs of a car would increase by 1 HP

-Taking out the WHOLE back seat, 30-35lbs = 4 HP

-Riding with less then half a tank,

-taking out spare tire and jack

    with this i beat GTS's.

  • @xGLITCHESx and honestly thats without adding anything, so if you love your GT, and dont wanna trade it in, try some weight reductions then buy the turbo ;)

  • quick question, why is the toyota badge not on a grill because i've seen other 2003 regulet gt's with it on a grill.

  • I know this is your opinion but I feel like you downplay the car's true potential. My opinion is that this isn't a car that is meant to blow past people. I have the exact same car, except mine is a 2005 (5spd MT) and came with all the options from the dealership, the only mods that are done is it has been lowered and inch. I can seriously throw the car around corners and it will stay level, its really fun.

  • the main reason that more cars are going more plastic is because they are forced to use more recycled materials i think its something like 78% of the car which HAS to be made of used recycled materials, i may be wrong but thats my guess, would you recomend this for my first car or shouldi get a mazda Mx5 convertible?

  • thank you for the review!

this video convinced my parents to buy me this!! thanks!! :D

  • It is actually true what some of these guys says. The automatic one sucks compared to the manual. I have driven both and the auto doesn't really shift when I want it to, I guess it is because auto transmissions were not enough developed when making this car. On the manual on the other hand is the car I'm driving now, absolutely love it. You actually feel the power alot more. -Thanks!

  • Nice color man! Nice car! I like that you havent done any ugly modification on this car!

  • Alright so I have the exact same car just gts. What's the difference? I'm know nothing about cars btw.

  • @tony484x it can rev higher and has lift (similar to vtec). its slower than his model at low rpms but much faster at high rpm especially when lift kicks in at 6200 rpm. ur engine has a higher compression ratio so u need premium gas for the vvtLi 2zzge(ur engine. notice the "L"). his car has a 1zzfe and has vvti.

  • automatic gt. couldnt be any slower. looks really good though so thats a plus :p

  • @UltrakupraRebirth its not a sports car..

  • Thanks, this video is helpful.

My 1999 Honda Accord was just victim from a fire so I need a new car. I'm looking for used cars around my Provence and I've narrowed to wish list down to five cars.

    Toyota Celica

    Acura Rsx

    Mitsubishi Eclipse

    Hyundai Tiburon

    Mitsubishi Lancer

The Tiburon and Celica would cost me about 3000 less at least.

    Any Input?

  • @MegadethRustInPeace It depends on the year of the models your looking at but the Acura RSX Type S is the better of what you listed(Toyota Celica/Acura RSX are extremely reliable(after 03 model's)) The eclipse, Tiburon, and Lancer are by no means reliable as Toyota/Acura, plus the acura rsx type s has more horsepower.

  • @MegadethRustInPeace That is basically the exact same list i have. Oddly enough my 1999 accord just got totaled as well

  • What about an 03 civic si (or ex in the states) coupe, would you take that or this celica?

  • the manual vvtLi versions are quite quick

  • Auto, vvt-i = Corolla

  • Comment removed

  • I find it kind of ironic that the guy named atheist likes his celica so much, considering celica means heavenly. XD nice car though!!!

  • @brandonp4 I am not the one who named the car, Blame Toyota...

  • wtf automatic? that sucks

  • Few things wrong with your review having owned a 2003 celica GT, the hood scoop does have function, there was too much warm air building up near the passenger wall, in this case this keeps the side cool. Secondly, your GT has 15inch Alloy wheels, not 17, the GT-S has standard 16. Why would you put 20-21 inch wheels on the celica, unless you're buying VOLKS. By the way your headlights are aftermarket, not stock. GT is a great car. Not "Soft" leather interiors. It's mesh.

  • VTTI lol

  • how much did u pay for it? with how many miles?

  • @metaljunkie209 after my trade in(only $5,000.00) I paid 4,800 tax, title, and reg. The vehicle has 85,000~ miles on it, and on previous owner.( the KBB is around 9,500 dollars in good codition).

  • Nice honest review. I was a little surprised when you said the spoiler had no purpose.......Because all spoilers have purpose. Its not like you need fancy technology to give a car more downforce over the back tires. And that spoiler looks like it has a fairly noticeable tilt so it definately accomplishes that. Anyway, Im only at the 3 minute mark.

  • im not a big fan of this car, nothing wrong with it but the man behind the camera sounds like a pretty sweet dude, not arrogant like 95% of the other drivers.

  • just the video i was looking for.. great job dude. i enjoy down to earth reviews like this. you said the insurance is good? how good?

  • @TheGarrret I am 25, a few ticket's, and live in VA. and pay 95 bucks a month for full coverage. So it is not to bad i guess.. Also I am with USAA.

  • @TheGarrret im 19 and pay just under 100 bucks a month, ive also had a speeding ticket..

  • Dude get a GT-S and then make a review you are embarrassing yourself, and making an amazing car look stupid

  • @Igor545R You don't even need a GT-S ... the GT is an amazing car in itself, especially with a manual transmission.
