@c29c310 Hell, I read it. I wouldn't say horrendous, but still a lot worse than it really should be cause it's basically just Halo CE in book form. The bits about Master Chief follow appropriately as they do in the game... everything else that's apparently happening at the same time with other characters is REALLY boring though... Honestly I just skipped a whole bunch of them.

@Darkninja282 It should be seen as a book that should never be. Plus I'm sure any fan will see this book as non-canon in terms of ME lore. So yh this book should not be taken into account in terms of ME lore/timeline and hopfully the next one is better fitting.

For what is was worth, Halo: The Flood wasn't all that bad. It definitely wasn't my favorite (that honor belongs to Halo: The Fall of Reach). From what I remember, it was a pretty dry book in terms of its wording of the action bits. However, it adhered to the Halo 1 story very well, so it did its job.

Syndicate is an amazing game, the demo only shows a short and not the best part from the full game, as well as alot of unlocks cannot be used, which limits what you can do, but ultimately you need good players that know what they are doing and it is the best demo I have played in a long time.
