I spent 6 month in Sierra Leone with IMATT. the six month turned into nearly a year. One of, if not THE most beautiful places on the planet but I had what is still and i think will always be the worst time of my life. money makes people savage, not their country.
my parents are from sierra leone and i just thank you so much for showing the good and natural beauty of sierra leone. most ppl only know of sierra leone because of it's *conflict diamonds* which to me is very annoying my parents and alot of my fam will be returning there when they get older
i'm glad u liked the video. i'm also sick of people showing sierra leone as some kind of nasty and dangerous place. There is just too many war videos on sierra leone.
. I think it is time to move on and think about the good things. i have been there severel times and i have to say i loved every moment there.One day Sierra Leone will be back on map as an no.1 place in africa.

I was there from Jun - Dec 06 and it was a great time! I felt completely safe. The people are super friendly in Freetown, Moyamba, Bo, Kenema and Makeni. Very beautiful country.

The country is perfectly safe just got back from there and had the best time,The people just want to concentrate on rebuilding their lives.
