what terrible singing. A disgrace for Iranians. Iranians are too musically deaf to hear the out of tune singing and westerners with musical training probably just shrug and say what do you expect from a backward country.
They have basically pooped on the beautiful Dastgah Nava. The Nahoft bit at 1:55 is impossible to listen to. It just hurts the ear.... Pari khanom keeps doing nahoft and cadancing back to Nava an then again. So gusheh Nahoft is not completely executed despite its openign melody being abused over and over. Look up any renditions of the radif for a complete version of this beautiful gusheh.
Why do none of you comment on the outstanding innovation here, namely, it is a VOCAL duet with the identical text? We have all heard instrumental duets, or violin following voice. Ustad Omoumi's great contribution here, creating a vocal duet, should be praised regardless of your opinions of any one singer's skills.
There is a song, I think called or composed by "Shayda" sung by this lady. Now, I just love this woman's voice and the song I just mentioned, and I did not know she was/is so beautiful, physically... The wonderfull voice is matched by her beauty. I hope someone can clarify my doubt, you see I listen to classical iranian music on the Internet, but I don't know who is the person singing these pieces. I just met Shahram Nazeri on youtube...

Anyone, anywhere in the world, with a good musical knowledge can tell these two are singing totally out of tune. They are just making a fool of themselves and hoping the musically challenged people of iran won't mind.
Omumi is an excellent Ney player, but far from a good singer. Parisa used to be a pretty good singer but not any more. Parisa at her peak did not hold a candle to ghamar but she was beautiful. Ghamar looked like a man.
Haha. Actually I think Parisa is the best here; great voice, great technique, great presentation of poetry. But, you know, Omoumi's singing kinda ruins it. He should stick to what he's good at: ney!

Does anybody know when is this from?? She looks flawless!

Parisa is a dream come true...heavenly voice, femininity, elegance.
She's on the highest pedestal along with Ostad Shajarian.

This guy should play his Ney not singing. Parisa is a much better singer than he is.

it is sad to see the recent transformation of parisa, her classic inward and outward outlook was much more dignified.

She sings like Marziyeh (i.e. like crap). Hoseyn needs some Taryak, it seems.
