  • Does anybody know when is this from?? She looks flawless!

  • the poems are so powerfull and deep it really doesnot need any musical accompany.

  • عالیه...عالی!

  • she's incredible, as always. but yeah the bloke is crap -- he sounds like my dad.

  • @imisskingslandroad Parisa is good , but she is an old lady, and it shows. The bearded guy is also a good. singer

    Just an observation.

  • parisa zibatarin seda zibatarin soorat va zibatarin sirat..........sepas az shoma

  • parissa is the best ajab ziba nava ra ejra mikonad in oje honar avaz ast

  • Parisa is a dream come true...heavenly voice, femininity, elegance.

She's on the highest pedestal along with Ostad Shajarian.

  • This guy should play his Ney not singing. Parisa is a much better singer than he is.

  • @12dabeer

Obviously you have no ear for Persian music

  • beautiful and mesmerizing voice. Parisa is the female Shajarian.

  • this is what you are maybe even less than this look very good . that point is bigger than you LOL

  • bah bah

  • می و میکده در راه پیر مغان خواهد بود

  • excellent

  • ey val halidim

  • امومي اينجا شکل Russel Crowe است.!

  • ما همان آتش پرست دیرینیم.

  • Im ci gur handeye Khudaya?!!!

    Mi mardim, mardim, mardim...

  • It's not NAVA I guess it is AFSHARI

  • That is hard, to maintain this duet requires total concentration.

  • Parissa is the best. I am astonished by her voice. Wish she could teach more students like herself fur the future generations...

  • They have basically pooped on the beautiful Dastgah Nava. The Nahoft bit at 1:55 is impossible to listen to. It just hurts the ear.... Pari khanom keeps doing nahoft and cadancing back to Nava an then again. So gusheh Nahoft is not completely executed despite its openign melody being abused over and over. Look up any renditions of the radif for a complete version of this beautiful gusheh.

  • don't get very technical, that makes you miss the joy of it

  • They almost pulled it off :D

  • actually I can't listen to this anymore..it's a disaster.

  • kheili ali ast. Hazz kardam

  • Why do none of you comment on the outstanding innovation here, namely, it is a VOCAL duet with the identical text? We have all heard instrumental duets, or violin following voice. Ustad Omoumi's great contribution here, creating a vocal duet, should be praised regardless of your opinions of any one singer's skills.

  • zaaheran parisa 20 saal nakhunde boode ghable in ejra !

  • it is sad to see the recent transformation of parisa, her classic inward and outward outlook was much more dignified.

  • There is a song, I think called or composed by "Shayda" sung by this lady. Now, I just love this woman's voice and the song I just mentioned, and I did not know she was/is so beautiful, physically... The wonderfull voice is matched by her beauty. I hope someone can clarify my doubt, you see I listen to classical iranian music on the Internet, but I don't know who is the person singing these pieces. I just met Shahram Nazeri on youtube...

    Cheers.

  • If you are asking for the woman singing, it's Parisa and the man is Hossein Omoumi

  • Fantastic, I appriciate it, very wonderful music.

  • do you have more excerpts of this show? there's nothing of omoumi playing ney on the net!! thanks a lot for the post!! I want more of this please

  • no im sorry i dont have anymore,

  • try omoumi.com

  • @dastgahshur I would love to hear more of Husayn Omoumi too, I guess we have to buy his albums. I also love to listen to Parisa.

  • You idiot. Hossein and Parisa are the best Iranian classical singers of all time.

  • Omumi is an excellent Ney player, but far from a good singer. Parisa used to be a pretty good singer but not any more. Parisa at her peak did not hold a candle to ghamar but she was beautiful. Ghamar looked like a man.

  • Haha. Actually I think Parisa is the best here; great voice, great technique, great presentation of poetry. But, you know, Omoumi's singing kinda ruins it. He should stick to what he's good at: ney!
