  • the coil hose cuts down on pulsing

  • "bigger boys" *raises eyebrows ROFL!!! 0:46

  • I appreciate ur videos

  • i just copped one of these at goodwill for $15 with the hoses, water trap and original box...tested it with my iwata eclipse brush...if anybody thinks this thing is loud they need to turn their hearing aid down...

  • Excellent video. It is exactly what I needed.

  • All of these are oil-less compressors. They look good but they are noisy and very expensive. Better and quieter options are Bambi, Jun-air, Whispair, Silair, etc.... These register at 40db which makes a lot of difference after hours of airbrushing.

Sorry to be a downer but you should be promoting the best airbrushes, which are Badger, American and half the price of iwata which are heavy, cumbersome and only sell because they spend a fortune on advertising.

  • @DAHKSYDE These little compressors are almost SILENT. they used one for the makeup and the haunted house i worked at and i thought it was never on. the only way i could tell it was one was it shook a little when it needed more air when it kicked on. sooooooooo im pretty sure for airbrushing these are prime on your ears. and as far as which airbrush it best is a personal preference. i prefer an iwata but my friend prefers badger. its all preference.

  • Koren

can you tanning with this compressor?

  • Hi Koren... thanks for all the videos.... I just recieved my smart jet compressor but for some reason the adjustment knob for the PSI is on the buttom of my compressor and I see that yours is on the side... do you know what the difference is? is there newer and older version of the compressor? thanks

  • I just love how the closeted homophobes watch soooo many of your videos Koren and then make horrible comments about them. If you're so straight, Commenter, then why are you sooo interested in Koren and how he acts? Koren, I think you're fabulous!! They're just jealous you have so many followers that love you!!

  • Dear friend, i have a question, if i buy the airbrush ,the compressor come together or not? thank you, i love all your tutorials,!

  • Thank you SOOO MUCH for this review. I really want to start airbrushing my makeup again, but I am tired of seeing super expensive systems made especially for makeup that probably won't last as long as industrial ones. Plus, the ones made for things other than makeup are not as expensive.

The personal makeup systems don't have all those features because lots of women are very very very very stupid and could never figure it out.

  • THANK YOU for all your advice! I find you so helpful! Stay sweet! :-)

  • Hi Koren!

Thanks for all your wonderful videos!

In light of your new airbrushing video series, I've been seriously considering purchasing an airbrush system. I had a hard time picturing myself taking the smart jet when travelling. So, I started looking for other compressors. Iwata has come out with a new compressor called the Ninja Jet. It's smaller and quieter. I was hoping you could take a look at the features for me and let me know what you think. If it's ideal for makeup etc...

  • How does it sound when you turn it on? Is it a quiet or loud machine?

  • i have the smart jet and mine doesnt have an adjustment nob for pressure, just the bleed valve.

    :(

  • Me too. So how did u fix that problem?

  • when i need to reduce pressure i open the bleed valve enough to drop it down to what i need. it gets noisy but it doesnt hurt anything.

  • @REL1C Hey thank you for you response. I got it fixed now. Thank you.

  • You are an insperation!

  • So what?! Yur a FAG! Don't be dissin', his video is the best one I've seen.

  • I really enjoy your video on airbrush! so usefull (:

  • Hi, I've really been enjoying your videos! I'm thinking the gun should be the best quality but do you think it's very important to have an Iwata brand compressor? I'm finding lots of other brands on Amazon from TCP Global and some Depot place. Appreciate your thoughts :)

  • Hey Koren .. I was wondering how loud is that machine?

  • hi enkore.. i was wondering if you could do a look using airbrush makeup. i am very intrigued about airbrush eye makeup with mascara

  • hi! can you use an ordinary liquid makeup on an airbrush gun?

  • lol

  • haha :D

  • Oh man I love you this was so helpful I live in New Zealand and I was tossing up wether to get this one noe im set, you rock, Mwah mwah.

  • thank for this video because it really helped me alot to buy pick one out,,,, but is the compressor a plug in

  • I set my compressor at 15 but then it drops when I start to use it is that normal?

  • if you bought the air compress this GUY is showing it sucks because it gets hot really fast like in about 30 min in it doesn't hold that much pressure so i recommend that you buy a bigger one its a waste of money if you buy this one trust me i bought one and took it back

  • you got to let the air blow out of your compressor and adjust it wile doing that

  • Applying foundation with an airbrush is amazing. perfectly even, I love it. I was given an airbrush when i was in school for make up but I havent picked up a compressor yet...I think its time to get on it. How much was the compressor if you dont mind me asking?

  • I got the compressor for $120 at Dixie Art when they were having a sale. The prices there are cheaper than most other suppliers.

  • i know its a tool stoor but harbor freight has them i picked up a complete kit for $100 with a brush. but they run as low as $70 if your starting out.

theres also an art stoor called micheals that runs a 40% off one item in the store sale. get a compressor or one of the top guns and your good to go.
