i do the same thing as you when i'm playing trumpet, i probably look more like i'm just relaxed and not into it but thats just me being relaxed and happy lol. I LOVE trumpet, not too many of us girl trumpet players. : ) i think you play good.

You look alright from what I can see, which isn't much. Your arms aren't in too much and don't look too bad, posture seems ok, the only suggestion I would have is to try and keep that right pinky finger out of the finger hook, and the right thumb under the leadpipe as much as possible, this employees your back muscles to come into play more. I can't see it so much, but make sure you breathe thru your mouth corners and nver the mouth center.

@Darkheven1: ideal trumpet angle is relaxed, i.e., almost lower than she has it here, not horizontal. Drum corps posture isn't applicable everywhere.
